  1. He's running as a member of the Tinfoil Party. Can I be your Secretary of Conspiracies?
  2. All I'm saying is, an alien spacecraft would not have lights because it would not want to be detected. Airplanes do not go into space. They need lights so that they do not run into each other and can be recognized by radar and air traffic control. Alien spacecraft are not airplanes, they are space ships. They wouldn't need exterior lights going while they fly because their crafts are not meant for flying in earth airspace, where lights are required.

  4. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Oct 26, 2008 -> 01:11 PM) If you are traveling in space, sure, but what about when they land? Do they need lights on their own planet to make sure they dont run into other aircraft, similar to why US aircraft need lights? Im certainly not going to discount it because it has lights. How often would you drive around in your car with your interior lights on? Exterior lights might be reasonable if you were on your own planet, but not if you were trying to be stealthy.
  5. QUOTE (juddling @ Oct 26, 2008 -> 01:31 AM) What??? Do you expect the aliens to insert their anal probes in the dark?????? That's how most guys accidentally do it.
  6. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 09:52 PM) ? QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 10:47 PM) What? How do you...? Huh? Think about it. If you're traveling in space, you don't need lights. The Space Shuttle has no major lights: http://overworm.com/NothingToSeeHere/NTSH%...ightLanding.jpg Lights are meant for landing, not for flying around aimlessly, alerting your presence to an alien world.
  7. A UFO would not have lights on it; and if it did, it would be seen more than just at night.

Anyone see Changeling, Eagle Eye, Max Payne, or Quarantine? Mini-review?
  9. QUOTE (chg027 @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 07:06 PM) If Swish 2009 season is a repeat of 2008, his value will be so low you will not be able to give him away. I am not saying that will happen, but the risk is there. Who knows? Management may be willing to get 70 cents on the dollar for Swish and just move on. I'd be willing to take that risk. By 2010, he will have the 1st base job. .265 25 HR 80 RBI 90 BB is not out of the question for 2009, if he gets a starting job.
  10. QUOTE (juddling @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 04:41 PM) 2. I'm spending a couple hours on Saturday afternoon watching 'Tron' on G4. I still love this movie. Me too!
  11. Yeah. Let's trade Swish while he's at his lowest value point.

I just saw Mummy III last night. HAHA! Who writes s*** like this?
  13. QUOTE (3E8 @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 01:27 AM) On a totally unrelated note, I'd just like to say how much I enjoy the Firefox add-on called DownloadHelper On a totally, totally unrelated note. I'd just like to express my disappointment with that program DownloadHelper. It seems the MLB's 2005 format is not compatible like its 2008 format is.
  14. "...and THAT happened."
  15. QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 04:43 PM) Vaughn ate his way out of baseball, that's what I meant rather than a numbers comparison. Actually, he had a hip injury. Kind of like #14 does.
  16. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 10:27 AM) Cuba. Mojitos are awesome and if you have a smoking house you can have cigars. Also you can make it tropical and encourage women to wear bikinis. Then after they get drunk, you can chain them to tables and have them make shoes for 5 cents an hour.
  17. MLB usually only keeps 3 years worth of archived highlights on its website. The 2005 World Series highlights will probably be off of its website come April. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/multimedia...s&ym=200510
  18. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 06:54 PM) knightni, that is the best avatar i've ever seen i salute you I'm sure that you'll love this one, then.
  19. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 09:22 AM) i feel like you just kicked me in a very unpleasant place. The back of a Volkswagen?
  20. Randolph is probably there as the token minority candidate. They'll hire Macha. He's done a lot with minimal salary in the past.
  21. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 01:14 PM) Why would conservatives not answer polls? What evidence do you have that this is true? I don't have direct evidence other than last year's election results versus the poll results. A lot of times, the conservative church people and the over 65 contingent, avoid political interaction until election day. I know this because I'm surrounded by them over here. Plus, you'll be surprised how quickly a normally Dem-leaning older person will vote for the old white guy with the military record when he's going against a minority.
