I hated Noah at Florida so he has to do something really insane to ever get on my love list. Its also why I hate Boozer because he played at Duke. The only Duke player I really tolerated was Deng (and I guess I tried to like Jayson Williams), so I just usually have opinions before they start in the NBA.

It depends on what they want, do you want more talent or do you want more cap space. Im not Orlando, but personally Id want more talent because I can always deal with getting rid of cap.

Based on the fact that it cant be a "sign & trade" Orlando has very little room to leverage Hedo in the deal.

Who is saying Dwight is Shaq? The difference is that when Mourning played, Shaq existed. If Mourning started today, who knows how successful the team would be. There just arent that many true centers anymore. I mean up until last year, Howard lead the league in rebounds 5 years. He plays in a different time, no Olajuwons, no Robinsons, etc.

Mourning was hurt basically every year he played with Hardaway. But lets look, the per for both was 45 at their peak. The per for Rose + Howard is 50. And for further comparison, Shaq/Kobe was 55. Rose/Howard could be a combination for the ages.

I dont think Malone and Howard are very comparable, Howard is a top Center, Malone is a top PF. The combination of top PF and top Guard has not been as successful as the guard/center combo.

Wait what? I never said Howard was better than Malone, I said Malone didnt play Center, which is true. That being said, Howard has put up similar per as Malone through age 26. For perspective here is the 36 minute pers: Malone: 24/10/1 (points, rebounds, blocks) Howard: 18/13/3 Not that it matters, the point was Malone plays PF not C, so Howard and Malone arent really similar comparisons in how the game is played. Malone couldnt lock down Centers.

Howard is a better defender than Noah. Howard is probably better than Noah at everything except for dribbling and energy.

Howard would change the entire complexion of the Heat match up. The Heat have no one who can match Howard. Lebron couldnt guard Rose because theyd need Lebron helping on Howard in the paint. Malone/Stockton is slightly different, Malone was a beast, but he wasnt Howard. Its more like if you had Shaq/Kobe, Shaq/Wade, you know dominant Center and dominant Guard combos.

Howard and Rose are under 26 and top 3 at their position. Its a little different than Melo, Amare and Chandler.

Its not about values its going to be matching contracts. So you may have to trade Deng just to make it work, obviously you hope they take Boooooooozer but youd have to hope the Magic GM had a mild stroke to accept that.
