Better not hear anything about Rose not being 100% because its nonsense he played until the end.
-
Rose still in the game. Rip young frankensteining it.
-
Why is Rose playing. What is going on.

So part of me is wants to get Knights of the Old Republic. I hate the thought of having to put time into a MMORPG but at the same time Ive always wanted to be a jedi. Anyone try it?

Yeah I was about to say Noah should be killing the Nets. And is Jimmy Butler injured or something?

Regardless who is running wall street will donate to both sides. Thats how you make sure it doesnt matter who wins, buy them both!

Its up to each of us who we blame and who we forgive, I know that I can be very hypocritical in that regard. At the end of the day, I dont think this one is on Paterno.

Also impossible to value "goodwill". Its simple economics, if something is easy to steal you have 2 options, 1) make it harder to steal or 2) lower the price so it actually costs more to steal it. Record companies dabble on both sides, my guess is they figured why spend millions on lawyers trying to sue Jan Doe, instead lets just try and change the law. Ultimately legislating the problem generally doesnt solve much, just creates different rules to play by.

There is a rumor floating around that if Tice stays with the Bears that the Bears are going to hire Bob Bostad for the offensive line. He just left Wisconsin to be hired by Pitt. -
I read the article, Im at work so I cant watch web videos.

I wish he would have explained why.

Pre-napster I can remember CD's costing $15 or so, anecdotal evidence would suggest that pirating has caused music prices to go down. I think the model is as follows: X people will buy music regardless of price. Y people will not buy music regardless of price. Z people will buy music only if the price is low, if not they will download music.

2011-2012 NCAA Basketball Thread

Not only did Big10 have 8, they also had NU just on the outside. I actually am starting to believe that the Big10 is going to at minimum get 7. Right now OSU, MSU are locks, Wisconsin, Ill, Indiana, Michigan are all in as of today, and I think at worst 1 and likely 2 of Purdue, Minnesota and NU make it. -
And #1 seed may not be that great if Miami is #4.

Yeah, I just still cant imagine putting KU with a loss at home to Davidson over Missouri who just beat Baylor @ Baylor. KU might not even have a top 25 road win. -
What are your NFL predictions for this weekend?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 01:57 PM) I keep asking who is the MVP? nobody seems to be able to answer this question(answered while I typed it). If the MVP HAS TO BE RIGHT(loophole), then maybe we should be informed who the MVPs were. How exactly am I trying to take advantage of a guy who voluntarily offered tickets with no prompting? How am i taking advantage of anything? I am not saying I won, far from it. Before the contest ran, Obama said how he would determine MVP When I went through the picks in this thread, I really didnt see anyone who could make a good claim for winning, so I really dont see what your angle is here. -

How does Lunardi have Kansas over Missouri? 8 teams for the Big10, still no Northwestern. -

That doesnt seem to be a vague loophole, it seems to be the rules of the contest. its like saying that you won the lottery because you had 7 numbers "close" and only because of a "vague loophole" did you need to have all 7 numbers right. A vague loophole would have been if Obama disqualified someone for having "same predictions" just because they had the same score but different mvps, etc. And youre wrong about 1 thing, I hate this. I dont love defending someone who was trying to add a little excitement to the board, from others who are trying to take advantage of them. This is the exact type of scenario where you would hope that people would realize Obama was being cool and they would act the same way, not start griping about him not giving away his tickets to some random internet guy. -

Hey look another person who doesnt like being wrong so they instead attack the person. Im pretty sure Steve would recognize that its different if he put his own Sox tickets on the line and no one else had to risk anything. It doesnt take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that caper. -

Sig bet and actually giving someone something of value are completely different. In a bet, both sides wager something, IE signatures being changed. This was no bet, as no one wagered anything and even if we were wrong we lost nothing. Thus there is really no complaint, it was entirely up to Soxobama whether he wants to give the tickets. Even if someone got the scores and MVP's right (which no one did). I dont think they are at all comparable. -

Littllehurt, The 90s super bowls (is what i meant to say) for the most were dominated by offense. My original comment was that you have to go back before 1990 to find consistent super bowl teams that did not have HOF Qbs. 2000 and beyond more points are being scored, but that doesnt change the fact that since 1990 teams with great QB's have won the most Super Bowls (which was the original point.) j4l, Its not just more pass, its more offensive plays in general. More teams run hurry up, no huddle, etc, than did 5 years ago, let alone 20. More plays equals more yards and points. Are you saying Stafford is a better QB? Or are you saying that todays game makes for more offensive statics?
