Are you really saying that people before the thread were predicting the refs would only be helping because Miami was down? Like I said, theres no problem commenting on refs during the flow of the game. Its just pointless to fixate on them as they key to a game before even seeing how it plays out. You just never know. (haha yes there is a difference between watching the game and commenting on how the refs are actually calling the game as compared to commenting before the game occurs. This isnt comparable at all)

Kap, If the Heat take the lead I think theyll have to make a last possession shot to do it. Dallas just needs to play competent and hit free throws.

The refs are going to kill Dallas down the stretch, but all they have to do is play even for 7 more minutes. They have the talent to do it, just have to play well.

I dont know, I was the hardest person on the Heat, Im one of the only people to pick Dallas to win the series, and Im the one in here arguing that the series has been decent in terms of reffing. It seems to be a strange turn of events, but I guess its because Miami was so overhyped after the Bulls series that people didnt realize the Bulls just sucked at shooting and that if Dallas could get hot they could compete with the Heat. If you can shoot, there is nothing the refs can do.

Miami is seemingly cracking while Dallas continues to make shots. Its strange but right now Dirk cant force it, Terry has been on fire today and you gotta go with whats working.

The free throws are exaggerated, but some of those fouls by Dallas were pretty clear. You cant just look at the shear numbers, when Miami gets in the paint Dallas has been giving them some pretty hard fouls. There really havent been that many terrible calls, some close ones have gone Miami's way, but its a home court game.

Live by the 3 and die by it right now. Damn they are hot.

Dallas needs to focus on scoring points and make Miami have long possessions on offense. If Dallas can score 20 points, Miami would need to score 30 to beat them.

Man Miami killin themselves with free throws and then Kidd throws up a miracle 3 and it goes in. Dirk just needs to get on track and this could really happen.

Marion needs to step up with Dirk out. And Cardinal needs to be careful.

Just wanted to make sure because nothing in the past 5 games of this series would indicate that the refs were going to massively screw Dallas tonight. And youre missing out, have been some solid games.

Terry bumped Chalmers and it caused Chalmers to travel, ref called the foul. It was tick tack, but definitely could be called. Dallas just has to win 2 more quarters, and I dont think the refs have really given Miami a ton of calls. They could have been a lot worse on Dallas. And (Jenks) I wasnt specifically talking to you, I said "people" because half the posts on this series have seemingly been about predicting what refs will do. People were complaining about how the refs might call the game tonight before the ball even tipped off. If you are watching the game and bad calls happen thats when you complain.

Because a lot of people have been complaining about fouls that have yet to be called. Its another thing to complain after it happens.

I definitely think that the NBA tries to fix games, Im just hoping dallas can overcome it.

Its different to complain about the refs and act like the games are already determined. There have been plenty of games where bad reffing wasnt enough to help the team win. Its a home game for Miami, they are going to get the calls. But Dallas is good enough to still beat them.

People need to stop fixating on the refs, if Dallas can shoot and score over 100 points, its going to be a tough game for Miami. If you want to be a champion you have to win, not hope the refs help you.

lol Why Im wrong? Its youre opinion, Im not sure how my opinion can be wrong, just like everyone else is entitled to their opinion. How in the world can I be wrong about my opinion on a player? Like I said, it just shows the absurdity of your (specifically Balta) position, that you actually believe there is a right or wrong. In my opinion it shows clear bias, because if you were unbiased youd at least recognize that different people could have different opinions. When you cant recognize that, its bias. You cant even accept the idea that some one else may have a different opinion. This is why Im done with the argument, you act like your opinion is so superior, when its nothing more than an opinion.
