Bulls are shooting 36%, Miami 53% You just cant win every night shooting under 40%.

The more questionable call was not calling the foul on Boozer a shooting foul. But its not the refs, I think they are giving Miami a little leeway with how they are playing defense, but I also expect that they are going to give the Bulls some calls. This is a game where the Bulls need to make shots to win, not rely on the refs.

Big stretch right here, Bulls need to hit a shot. Also I think time to sit boozer to get taj in and not get abused in that screen.

The defense fell apart because Thib went with a more offensive oriented line up. Korver, Rose, Boozer are not outstanding defenders. With the 3 of them on the floor you have Deng, Rose and Korver to guard Bibby, Lebron and Wade. That means Rose is guarding Wade, not a great match up. Id rather have Brewer or Bogans on Wade and then Rose back on Bibby. The Bulls on offense need to be methodical and until Korver starts hitting with more consistency hes just to much of a liability with Lebron and Wade on the floor. You just cant even consider switching him to one of them. Even if Rose can stay with Wade, the pick with Lebron just sets Rose up for an even worse match up. Bogans/Brewer both played Lebron adequately but asking Rose to is just pretty far fetched. I think these are all problems that can be solved, Bulls were just missing shots, its going to happen. But the Bulls key is defense and they need to go back to what got them here.

I think there is probably a good amount of people in the NBA who want the Bulls over the Heat. The Bulls just need to play better.

The refs made some bad calls both ways, the reason the Bulls arent winning is because of the Bulls. Rose and Korver leads to Rose on Wade with a possible switch on Lebron. That is not how the Bulls won the first game. They won with superior defense. You just cant hide 3 defenders against the Heat.

But yet you conveniently forget the post where I said: The calls against the Bulls were bad, but then the refs make equally bad calls against Miami to even things up. Lebron probably got a clean block on Rose, but you have to even up the fouls.

Refs are horrible, see post where I said that the refs would then call fouls against Miami to catch up. Its so predictable.

Im really not a fan of Rose guarding Wade, to easy to get the switch where Rose is guarding Lebron.

Refs arent helping the Bulls, but the Bulls need to play better. Korver is forcing those shots, when with a little better offense we can get him open spotted up, instead of on the run.

This is a little random, but I love that the Bulls dont speed up music against a team when they are on offense. I think that is such an advantage for the away team when the music speeds up as the 24 shot clock winds down. You know that you are running out of time without looking at the clock (Miami will use speed up when the bulls are offense at Miami). Conversely Lebron had no idea that the shot clock was winding down because he never looked.

Thib has to recognize you cant have Korver and Boozer out there at the same time

Now they have to call fouls on Miami to even things up. I hate when refs screw up a game.

The only reason tehy called a foul on Miami there was that Watson hopped 3 times and they had to call something.
