I think we'd all like Reed up in the bigs playing centerfield daily but that's not going to happen for a little while atleast... You beat me to it.. I was going to say that Rowand doesnt necessarily have his centerfield spot locked up. I mean the guy can't hit dick right now, and I think everyones becoming sick of it. Willie's going to be in the line-up, KW and Ozzie love him to much.

I havent really agreed with the Reynolds bashing until this point.. Frank Thomas>Corey Patterson should and is a no brainer...

All this East Coast bias is rediculous... The reason for the Red Sox, Yankee talk is not just because ESPN is located in Bristol, CT but also because the Red Sox and Yankees draw the most attention nationwide.. ESPN's a very factual network, but its also a business and if the White Sox were selling out game after game, and drawing the attention of the entire nation like the Cubs did last year, the Sox would be the White Sox... It's really a stupid thing to be pissed about, and hey how many of you thought the marquee player for tommorow nights game would be Frank Thomas over Tejada...

From a Red Sox standpoint, this is exactly what there thinking. Signing Pedro long term which he wants could be detrimental to the teams well being for the next decade. Take the picks, take the 17 million dollars and never stop running because thats robbery. Losing Pedro means keeping Lowe, Varitek, Shrek, Williamson long term plus still having money left over for next season for a Matt Morris type pitcher... Man, its a shame that Pedro has to be that way, and its also a shame that in the midst of all this he goes out and gets creamed.. way to make your 17 million dollar per year statement Pedro
