We obviously had plenty of chances to win the game today, but Ozzie cannot be blamed for this. No one on the team alone can be blamed, piece by piece things fell apart and mistakes were made. With a performance as the Sox had today the whole team is to blame and blaming it on an individual, whether it be a coach or player is not accurate unless you blame everyone else who had a glitch in the game.

Obviously no matter how many trades the Sox are gonna execute it will not fix all of their problems......

Gosh, already this week we have given up over 10 to 15 two-out runs...

Most importantly, is the stretch of games we are currently in playing our division. If we continue to do well within, we are playoff bound, simple as that.

Besides for a middle reliever, Catalanotto would be the player i want on this team most. Would it be possible for him to bat as the lead-off? Either way he can be valuable down the stretch

At least on a positive note today Jose was able to get down a decent bunt when we needed him too....

1 down and 18 more to go with the Tigers. If we can win tomorrow's game we will be 10 games over .500 for the first time this year.

In my opinion, this next series with the tigers will be big. A perfect time to get a streak going and make a statement in our division. If we struggle with Detroit there could be a pretty tight division race through September.
