With Buehrle on the mound the offense can relax today. This should be an easy one. Sox-8 BJ's-0 Buehrle, has the stuff to throw a no-no anytime he steps on the mound. Not saying thats going to happen today, but it is always a pleasure to sit and watch the best pitcher in baseball pitch on a nice saturday afternoon. This are the kinds of days that make being a Sox fan so great.

Garland prefers to trick hitters into thinking he isn't very good and then he gets the job done. This guy will have a Maddux like streak of 15 win seasons in his career. He's a stud pitcher.

Contreras is doing his best to try and tie this game up.

I heard he's still getting the s*** kicked out of him by Nolan Ryan on the weekends.

The sox go down quickly again. Contreras has the stuff to go complete game shut out today though.

Once things turn around for everyone else Thome's numbers will be unbelieveable. He's already MVP in my eyes, by the end of the year he should easily have 60+ homers and 120+ RBI's.

I don't think roundhouse kicks are good for his back. He should stick to homeruns.

I'm glad we have him, cause no one else has wanted to play. He's the only one hungry for the ring so far and he can taste it. And he wants more. And he's gonna get some.

Whoa, accidentally slept in and missed the first inning. Contreras is exactly who I want on the mound today. The man is a master of his craft. Those Sox hitters are also ready to feast on some more Tiger flesh after that day off. This is going to be a great one to watch. Sox-5 Tigers-0
