That's not funny. Seriously, this is the game they've been waiting for since the Tigers series started. If they don't win this win that'll be just another nail in the coffin of this season. I think they'll come up big today though and give us all hope for a little bit longer. Sox - 11 (With 6 HR's) Rangers - 0

Sox v. Tigers, Gamethread: Contreras v. Rogers, 12:05

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Igers really rally around that set of outs and come up huge in these last innings. That was just sad to watch. -

This team is just done right now. Physically, emotionally, they need that 2nd wind to hurry up and come cause right now, they got nothing left in the tanks. -
Keepin' that Motown Mojo = Sox @ Tigers

There's the 2nd nail in the coffin of this season. The first came last weekend in NY. -

EAT IT! :finger -
Just a matter of time until that Garland performs his spectacular collapse trick.
-
They were lucky to get one.
-
RALLY POPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
With Garland on the mound they are going to need alot more of those. 1 isn't gonna get it done against this Tigers team. Especially with you know who on the mound.
-
It's too bad that ball couldn't have been hit a little harder cause no way they will get JD home.

Hopefully it won't be his only good inning. If he's lucky the Sox will score some runs this inning. They are going to need to score alot tonight with Garland on the mound.

QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 11:14 PM) I hope after the game tonight, i can bring this post up and shove it in your face. I hope so as well.

Last night I dreamt that I was the state assigned lawyer for LaMarr Hoyt. Needless to say, the state had way to much evidence against him for me to get him off the hook. I really think this dream is a bad sign of things to come. Tigers - 6 Sox - 5

Pretty obvious that the Sox will go in and sweep Detroit.
-
This is sad and lame.

QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) If I eat 40 pizzas a day and sit on my ass all day, I will gain weight. Seriously man, come fresh or get out. I'm just stating a fact since everyone seems to think this team can rest on their laurels and everything will be fine. There is a downword trend that everyone can plainly see. They have not been playing good baseball for some time now. Just because they're so far over .500 right now doesn't mean it's going to stay that way. -

This team really needs to start playing better baseball or else that record is just going to keep getting worse. Those arms are dead tired and I can't see them getting better anytime soon. Evryone is playing like s***. Keep losing and you get closer and closer to that .500 mark. Oh and if you haven't figuered it out yet. The Tigers aren't going anywhere. -

This team looks just about done. They completely packed it in for this weekend. They look like dogs out there. Thome can't slide into 2nd, the coaches don't know when to wave people. This is a debacle right now. -

QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 07:03 PM) We don't deserve to win this game with this embarassing showing. Don't worry they won't be winning this or any other games anytime soon if they continue to play like this. The Tigers are licking their chops waiting for the Sox to limp into their yard. Things could get very ugly around these boards in the next week or so. -

Can't we clone Anderson and have him hit in all 9 slots? He's the only one playing with the kind of intensity we need to win. -
