This game is far from over it's only a matter of time before the Sox bats get ahold of some stuff and turn this into a laugher. The Yanks are not good enough to sweep us. Win today, then sweep detroit and everyone else can kiss our asses. This game is the major turning point of the season.

We need a banner going into this game. Something BIGTIME Peter Gabriel style. Maybe godzilla ozzie eating matsui or something.

I think the main problem with Buehrle is that he's been giving up alot of runs.

I'm just posting my opinion. If you don't like it you don't have to say anything about it.

My prediction: Buehrle reminds us all why he is our #1 and the best pitcher in the bigs today. Sox-9 Yanks-0 Complete game shut out 2 hitter.

I'm well aware of what Brain Anderson has to hit to reach that plateau and I think based on his recent improvements and the fact that he is getting more patient at the plate that it is something that he can attain. With Ozzie behind this kid there is no telling how great he can be.

The Twins won't be making anymore noise in the 2nd half. They made their run and are done. Someone else mentioned Cleveland getting hot, not gonna happen. They'll probably be dumping more guys. As long as the Sox don't have brain farts against the Devil Rays and Royals of the world everything will be alright. I also predict Anderson will be batting close to .280 by seasons end.

57-31 in the 1st half. Pretty damn good. This has been a great year if Sox baseball and the memories keep adding up as the day's go by. That win over the Red Sox was a marathon of the lord looking down upon his favorite team giving them a wink and lifting them up above their competitors yet again. Simply beautiful to watch. I smell a trade, probably the Sox sending Vazquez to someplace. I don't know. I don't think they need help anywhere, but Kenny might just have a blockbuster in mind that will make everyone happy. 15 starts for each starter left. Here are my predictions for their records. Buehrle 12-1 Contrerras 10-0 Garcia 6-4 Garland 9-1 McCarthy 5-2 Look for a huge second half where the sox completely step everything up even more and make the Tigers a distant memory. I predict a second half run of 62-12. Then a roll through in the playoffs culminating in the White Sox winning the world championship for the second straight year. Anyway you look at it this year adds up to a world series title. There is not a team out there who can beat the Sox in a full series.

Even if Verlander grew some sort of 6th finger and learned a whole new pitch due to the grip he gets by using 6 fingers it wouldn't phase this sox line up. They are that strong and that focused right now. They know exactly what is riding on this series and Detroit truly doesn't have a chance. Nothing beats a nice June night watching the reiging and soon to be repeating world champions.

Thome is a beast. The man is easily a top 3 candidate for MVP right now. There is absolutely no reason to bad mouth him.

It doesn't take much to demoralize Detroit. There season is officially over. The imminent sweep by the White Sox will be the final nail in their coffin. I hope they enjoyed it while it lasted. The Sox are getting ready to really hit all cylinders and when they do, no one in the American League is safe.

Contreras is one of if not the best pitcher in baseball right now. There are very few men I'd rather have going to the mound tonight. The sox will easily win tonight and finish the sweep off tomorrow. Sox - 8 Tigers - 0

A 2 run deficit is nothing. Thome will tie this thing up with 1 swing. Our offense is a beast, once they gel together this team will be unbeatable.

The ball is obviously juiced for whoever the Sox are playing.
