  1. Most importantly, he is alot cheaper.
  2. I think i am gonna give him one more year since he is yet to have a year with 500 at-bats. But if he is indeed the starting second baseman and does not improve his stolen base total and all the other good stuff. I think it would be time to trade him.
  3. Robinson is what 60 now and he is draining everything.
  4. No way in hell timo would start over gibbons. No one will agree with you on this.
  5. I do not consider .262 decent i guess and a .342 obp is not very good imo. It seems we agree on everything else outside of that. Hasn't someone gotten his batting average against lefties in the minors before?
  6. Lol, no it is qwerty with a q.
  7. Everything about willie is what ifs. What if he can learn how to bunt. What if he can learn how to steal a base. What if he can learn how to be more agressive on the base paths. What if he ever learns how to hit left handed pitching.....
  8. I don't think what i said is really unfair. He ended the year with an era near 5 and if someone said he was an up and coming star that would be foolish imo. I know he is young, and i know he has a really good chance of busting out at any moment but until he proves that he can be more consistent for a longer period of time i don't think he should be considered one. If anyone wants to think or say he is that is cool, i just do not agree.
  9. I have nothing against him, i just don't think he would or should be considered an up and coming star with an era in the 5's and 6's throughout the majority of the year. Is that an unfair thing to say?
  10. Borders signed a minor league deal with the brewers today.
  11. I think he will be a good pitcher never said otherwise but he is not the best starter on the team at this point. I still think it is a pretty fair thing to say that they have little to no starting pitching. I do like whip alot because it is one of the better ways if not the best way to evaluate a pitcher.
  12. I have never said he won't be, but i still feel he has a ways to go to be considered an up and coming star. Era around 4.25 over a full year i would start saying that. Edit: It is qwerty not gwerty, you have said thta like 3 times.

    Me too, non stop.
  14. His era was in the 5's and 6's the majority of the year. I don't think he would be considered an up and coming star on any team while pitching like that.
  15. His stuff may be electric but apparently he has not learned how to use it yet. I could give a s*** what his win loss record is. But i do look at whip, era, baa, and pitches per game.

I always chew on pens, pen caps, little rubber s***, little plastic s***, etc. I have almost died probally fifty times by choking.

Nomar wants to get a 1 year deal to get his stock up for one more big pay day. I don't think he will be signing anything more than a one year deal unless some team is willing to vastly overpay.
  18. They are at least 2 year away from getting really serious i feel. Even with one of them their starting pitching will be horrid. They do have the makings of a pretty nice pen with a pretty potent offense.
  19. They have no starting pitching. That is the problem they have.
  20. 14 years technically.
  21. Percival would only sign with a team that he would be the closer. So that is a very very strange thing for them to say that. I highly doubt that the tigers convinced him to set-up.
  22. What makes you think he would be a backup here of all places?
  23. I dislike garland as much as anyone but contreras likes to not throw strikes for a couple innings a game and poof, it is 5-1 opposing team.
  24. Nope, no option at all.
