Come October the Sox pitching staff will have to work even harder if they want to go deep into those playoffs. As of now, our starting pitchers don’t have pretty numbers. Here’s what I’m talking about.... Mark Buehrle (10-3) 3.86 Freddy Garcia (8-8) 3.18 ERA Esteban Loaiza (9-5) 4.85 ERA Jon Garland (7-6) 4.45 ERA Scott Schoeneweis (6-7) 4.97 ERA Two of our starting pitchers almost have ERA’s above 5. They still have a lot of time to improve, but will need to have some good shutout innings. All we need in the playoffs are 4 starting pitchers and if we look at it now, it looks like Scotty will move into the BP. Anyone besides me believe we should get another SP or can we go all the way with what we have?

Tonight’s game was just big. Hopefully the Sox will get in a big ass winning streak, not to mention we will face the Twins and hopefully after the 28th, they’ll be 3 games behind so that we’ll have sole possession of 1st place

I just came back from the game and man was every single sole in the Cell excited or what? I don’t know if anyone saw the game over WGN (because the Cell was packed) but if you did, you just missed one hell of a game. Joe Crede came back big time. Player of the Game and he deserves a lot of drinks for the clutch hit he hit for a sell out crowd. I don’t know what to say, before the fireworks I checked the score box and saw that the Twinkies lost and that we moved up to 1st place. Today may very well be my happiest day in this year. I look at the big screen TV and I see this kid with a big ass smile. That kid is Joe f***ing Crede.... Can you believe it? Joe was smiling!!!!!!!!!!! f*** YEAH! 1st place. White Sox record with Yoda in attendance: 5-0 White Sox fans.... Take out your brooms for tomorrow afternoon because we have some sweeping to do. GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn.... I really don’t give a f*** about what Marriotti has to say about this team. All I have to know about him is that he’s the biggest moron in Chicago. This team has lost it’s biggest hitters of the team and that may hurt come August and September. Yes, we still have 2 months of baseball, which is a lot. The winning streak we are in at the moment is good and all, but it may not last. Later we may be saying that we desperately need Big Frank and Maggs back in this lineup. Our current players need to step up big time. The only players that I see doing so are Rowand and Lee.
