  1. If Guillen wants to get an idea of what having both Thomas and Konerko in the field would be like, he can test the idea during tomorrow's game. Crede has two hits on Saturday, but he doesn't look comfortable at the plate right now. Both Frank and Paulie are swinging the bat well, so it makes sense to do whatever is necessary to keep both of them in the lineup. The bunts may just be something the Sox have to live with for a few games.
  2. The Sox have found their closer ladies and gentlemen.
  3. Officially, Ozzie was ejected for arguing balls and strikes, which is against the rules of Major League Baseball. However, Hawk and DJ think that he came out to argue in order to defend somone sitting in the Sox dugout who was shouting at home-plate umpire Jerry Davis.
  4. I didn't realize the 3-6-3 double-play was such an important aspect of the game.
  5. Darrin Jackson is a tool. That's all there is to say.
  6. Crede really looks bad up there right now. I know he's doing the best he can, but he's just not getting the job done. When teams have a huge hole like that in the lineup, it makes everyone else have to work that much harder to make up for what the team is lacking in offense.
  7. Jones homers to tie it at six. Damn!
  8. Loaiza's getting hit hard. It's 6-4 now with the single by Green.
  9. Frank is throwin' some leather out there! Let's go Sox!
  10. That was a terrible call on that pitch to Drew. Pathetic.
  11. CF- Harris 2B- Uribe 1B- Thomas LF- Lee SS- Valentin DH- Konerko RF- Perez 3B- Crede C- Olivo
  12. This sucks. Why is it that the Sox get squeezed by umpires so badly? I've never seen a team subjected to so many bad calls.
  13. Lineup: CF- Harris 2B- Uribe DH- Thomas LF- Lee SS- Valentin 1B- Konerko RF- Gload 3B- Crede C- Alomar Jr.
  14. Stop complaining. Coming into today, Frank was only hitting .208 lifetime against Eric Milton. He just doesn't hit him well. He's human. Get over it.
  15. 2B- Uribe CF- Harris DH- Thomas LF- Lee 1B- Konerko RF- Rowand 3B- Crede SS- Valentin C- Olivo
  16. If he does hit one, it will happen against the Cubs. Having said that, I really don't care if he hits one or not. He's not on the team for his power. The Sox already have seven players who may end up with more than twenty home runs this season. That's more than enough.
  17. Josh Paul is in left field. LOL!
  18. Lineup: 2B- Harris 3B- Uribe DH- Thomas LF- Lee SS- Valentin 1B- Konerko RF- Gload CF- Perez C- Alomar Jr.
  19. And they all blew up in our faces. I don't want KW to make any deals until he's certain he's getting the best players availible.
  20. I heard Jon's side of the story. I still think he screwed up royally by leaving. I don't want him on the team anymore. Period.
  21. Agreed. There's a big difference between somone who's trying his best but can't get good results and someone who just doesn't care. Rauch doesn't care.
  22. People are upset because Rauch basically walked out on his job. If any of us in here were to do something like that, we'd be fired without a second thought. If there's one thing I won't tolerate, it's people who just give up and quit because things don't go their way.
  23. I think I know what you're talking about. Rauch's attitude is terrible, so I'm not at all sorry to see him go. I don't what it is about certain people, but they act as though they're entitled to special treatment by everyone they meet. Rauch seems like this type of person, so he doesn't belong in the Sox organization. He can pump gas for the rest of his life as far as I'm concerned.
