I understand, just would rather have this than letting him allow it to get any closer. I would love to see him go the minors and get confidence he can consistently get guys out. It’s been a long time since that has happened, as he was struggling big time even before getting called up.

People need to stop viewing Cease as the traditional starter from 5 years ago. If he can give you 5 strong innings, you take it. I’ve always thought his ceiling was Rich Harden.
