Getting Colson experience at SS should be the primary focus right now.

Every team thinks they drafted well two weeks after the draft. I don’t get a lot of warm fuzzies drafting someone that we know needs hitting adjustments. We also thought they drafted well last year, and that’s been a disaster outside of Bonemer.

They want grinders. We hear it still all the time. Soft tossing pitchers is the equivalent of a grinder.

Yep, and it’s why people dismissing the Cease return as anything less than a disaster never made sense to me. There’s no path to improvement of this roster besides drafting and spending.

Teel should have started yesterday and then let Quero play next two days. As for Colson, this playing him at 3B so much is one of the more asinine things they’ve done (and that’s saying a lot!)

Vientos is far and away the best chance, which is why it won’t happen

It’s also why it was so dumb not to invest in a higher upside bullpen arm that you could trade at the deadline

It’s so ridiculous how they’re handling the young players. Montgomery at 3B again after having one of the worst defensive games imaginable. Teel sits against the RHP yesterday and then sits again today.

I would love to see the Sox target Reece Hinds in any possible deals with the Reds. He has crazy tools, and is the ultimate low floor, high ceiling guy they should be taking a chance on in the outfield.

With the Phils and Padres rumored, I don’t see much that interests me. Hopefully it’s something with the Mets.

Robert isn’t going to bring back something like that. As for Gilbert, he’s very overrated on here.

Colson didn’t try to knock down the double

I’d want him as a platoon player and late inning sub. People on this site that thinks he will fetch a large return are insane. Vientos would be an overpay by the Mets.
