Vaughn would be a good fit with the Reds next year. His opposite field power (warning track power) would fit way better there. He would have hit over 30 homers if he played for them.

It’s funny, that stupid drill showcases one of his biggest issues from last year. He just doesn’t get enough extension and and load with his hands.

I also wouldn’t rule out that they bring back Lopez (at a lower amount). They definitely want a veteran infielder to go along with the youth.

I’d be a lot more patient with Getz in charge of this rebuild if he showed any acumen in terms of making quality trades. If he can’t evaluate talent, this team will continue to lose 100 games for the perceivable future.
