Who would you let bat here, Johnson or Bonifacio?

QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 04:43 AM) Alexei bunt/Beckham steal attempts in late innings are prolly not going to put you in "Manager of the Year" conversations. Not forcing the issue to get the Royals worst reliever in as well (Morales)

Hell of a play by Alexei!

Still can't believe he let Flowers hit there when he could have gotten a great match-up with Morales vs Soto. Morales is garbage

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 04:40 AM) Lol. Who told him to steal? We know Beckham is slow and it was an 0-2 count correct? And they knew it was coming

That was an incredibly stupid steal attempt. TERRIBLE inning of fundamentals/managing

QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 04:38 AM) In other news, Flowers is still susceptible to off-speed pitches. and fastballs

Way too many players swinging at pitches far out of the zone. Not sure why Flowers was left in to hit there with Shuck still on the bench. If they go to lefty, then you get Soto.

QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 03:36 AM) Honestly him missing a sign was probably a good thing. It was probably a bunt. I actually wanted the bunt there

Ugh, can't be having missed signs in big spots.

I don't mind the bunt here

Beckham is so studly

Just an FYI, Beckham's never hit a walk off homer

Jennings and Abreu!

of course, cheap double

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 04:16 AM) Avi is a ground ball hitter, something he can't be, in the 5 hole. Oh, and LaRoche...24 K's in 53 ABs... He fouls off a lot of good pitches to hit

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 04:14 AM) Putrid offense is putrid Sox brass has put WAY too much faith into Avi's ability heading into the year. He was supposed to be the bridge from the stud 2-3-4 to the bottom of the order, but instead, it just creates a very weak lineup.

Ugh, Avi really sucks now. His bat speed is so bad due to his awful mechanics.

This would be a nice time for one of Avi's cheap flares to right field from two years ago

doesn't look conclusive...very close though

Ok, throw that change to Avi and hopefully it speeds up his bat

One of the biggest meatballs on that first pitch

would like to see him sit on the change

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 04:04 AM) I am sure it was after Ventura decided to stare him down for no reasn agreed

Well, that was awful by Melky
