Think it might in the Athletic today that the Sox lowered their return from the Mets due to the Mets taking on the whole deal.

Baldwin needs to improve his righty swing dramatically if he wants to play full time. Also, he gets a little too swing happy with RISP and chases a lot of bad pitches. It’s worth it to give him this season. As I said earlier, it would be great if either him or Acuna can perform well this year.

As someone that basically never gets into it with other posters, I’m so tired of every thread ending up with the same cast of characters bickering. I’m not saying anyone is particularly wrong, but I speak for myself when I say I don’t even read what is posted by these posters when I see it’s become a personal argument.

If the roster stays as what it is, then give Kelenic and Baldwin the first chance. No one is pushing them, as of now.

Let’s be honest, if he’s better than expected, he will be playing for the Dodgers after the Sox trade him. I’m excited to watch him play, but I would never buy a jersey for a guy who will be here for two years max.

Love the idea of getting a closer that they can flip. Still think Taylor should be moved if teams have a huge price on him.

More that they can likely get the SS of the future in the next draft. I get that you can never have enough up the middle players, but I’m nervous Carlson just won’t hit.
