Eaton had a chance with a good throw, but once again, he spiked it into the ground.
-
Once again, Downs starts a rally for the other team. Ventura worrying way too much with the L/L match-up against a pitcher that flat out sucks. The sooner they stop using him, the better.
-
Goodness Paulie ADA has a huge hole in his swing right now. He has no chance on the low and in offspeed pitch.
-
Wow, Carroll with some magic tonight. Wasn't pretty, but just what the team needed!
-
QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 28, 2014 -> 05:42 AM) Go get Carroll NOW! He should have never been left in for this inning.
-
Ugh, gonna be a tough inning here.
-
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 28, 2014 -> 05:31 AM) Alexei keeps on hitting. Here comes a steal attempt.
-
Very impressive pitching day for the system ( I don't consider Johnson a prospect right now)
-
Dunn should have been ejected, which would have really screwed the Sox.
-
BECKHAM!
-
Time for Putnam/Petricka/Webb/Belisario?
-
PK batting .146 vs RHP now this season
-
QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ May 28, 2014 -> 03:59 AM) If Chris Sale wants to go 5-0 he needs runs in this half-inning He can't get the win
-
Mercy, those two fly outs were very close to being homers. One inning down for Carroll.
-
Why is this guy still in the majors?
-
QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 28, 2014 -> 03:52 AM) Carroll not fooling anyone. 33 hits allowed in last 15.1 innings
-
They're hitting rockets off of the pitching machine. From Cy Young to Minor League mediocrity.
-
QUOTE (greg775 @ May 28, 2014 -> 04:36 AM) Hopefully he can go four innings and allow just one run. He went 3 innings on Sunday. If he can go 2 innings, I'm good with that.
-
No way should they bring out Sale if this game continues. As others have said, they should have never started this game.
-
Haha, Hawk really thinks that Alexei would win the shortstop All-Star vote if this wasn't Jeter's last year?
-
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 28, 2014 -> 01:40 AM) don't like eaton on there on any field. fixed
-
Gillaspie with such a sweet swing.

For them to be playing in this rain, they must think it will slow down soon.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 28, 2014 -> 01:12 AM) Let's hope our first round pick hits the majors before our minors can get to them. It won't be an offensive player, so I have a lot more confidence in how the Sox will develop the pitcher.
