Wow, Fields wasn't even hustling down the line. He is just such a pansy hitter now. -

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:23 PM) Scotty Pods almost toppled over and missed a routing fly ball. He really is back. You can't say he's back until he takes a called 3rd strike. -

Haha...that's my boy!! Do we end the night with more hits or errors? -

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:19 PM) I'll bite....does that surprised anyone? Cooper is the only coach on the team who deserves his paycheck. Cox and Walker are really bad at their job. Hold on, I have to get some tissues for the circle jerk Joe Morgan's trying to get started for Rickey Henderson. -

QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:16 PM) And Ramirez continues to be useless. How much longer does he have to suck before we decide last year was a fluke? I want to know how many hits he had to the opposite field last year compared to how many he has so far this season. Seems like he's trying to pull EVERYTHING!. -

Squandered the leadoff double. At least we face Greinke tomorrow. -

QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:12 PM) Thing of f***ing beauty. He might lead our team in doubles this year while getting 200 ABs. -

Haha, he has absolutely no bat speed left. Big AB for Alexei here. -

Just a terrible AB by Corky. The magic is gone for him. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:07 PM) Nicely done Nix. I love how freaked out you guys are about a 1-0 game. It was an excellent play by Nix. I'm just so damn sick of Lillibridge, as even his defense has been disappointing this season. I don't think I'd even enjoy watching him if I was a Winston-Salem fan. -

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:06 PM) Ozzie is a big pussy for not ordering Danks to drill someone. Ozzie's been a bigger pussy this year for not once arguing with the umpires. If he doesn't have a Rangers hit tonight, then he will be such a hypocrite. -

QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:02 PM) holy s*** we're gonna be bad this year Either be real good or be real bad, that's all we can ask for. Being a .500 team would be the worst possible thing for this franchise, especially with some big decisions coming up about which veterans to possibly keep around. Also, Jenks is about to get very expensive. -

Just pull this team off the f***ing field. Thanks for putting this pathetic team on the field KW and Ozzie. -

QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:58 PM) Not even f***ing close. Joe Morgan is the most offensive man in the baseball universe. The fact that he can say some of the stupid f***ing s*** that he does and still keep his job is a joke. No company would ever fire him and risk his racial discrimination lawsuit. -

The absolutely crap that is our first inning offense continues. 6 straight games now without scoring in the first inning. -

QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 3, 2009 -> 10:55 PM) f*** looking bad, they need to learn that they can't get away with hitting 5 of our hitters in 2.1 games. That's bulls***. Kinsler needs to take a dive some time in this game. It's total bulls*** that we didn't hit one of their guys in the 8th inning last night. -

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 3, 2009 -> 11:49 PM) Wow, Joe Morgan likes Dewayne Wise. Why am i not suprised? FWIW, I'm not watching the game, so my quote about minorities was prior to hearing this. -

QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 3, 2009 -> 10:45 PM) TV on. Radio up. Does it get any worse than Joe Morgan? I submit that it does not. Which minority will he claim is the most underrated superstar in baseball? Usually he states it's Gary Sheffield. Too bad Dye's not playing, as Morgan might have gave him some lofty accolades. -
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 3, 2009 -> 09:10 PM) Wasn't it against the Cubs at Wrigley that Gload made that awful play in RF for the Sox back in 2004? Which sentenced him to never play RF for the Sox again? He must really not like playing the Cubs. Yes it was...same game that he had a grand slam overruled.

Crazy stat so far this year: The White Sox have split the first two games in every series of the season. -
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 3, 2009 -> 08:56 PM) This is the team who is notorious for their injuries being way worse than they start out! I don't disagree with the last part. Yes, for Mark Prior (who funny enough is complaining of shoulder issues again). They've had so many injuries the last 2-3 years where it seemed like the player would be out a long period, only to miss a week of action. Hell, Zambrano has left with forearm/elbow pain about 5 times over the past few years, and has only missed maybe 5 starts during that time.
-
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 3, 2009 -> 08:49 PM) They have literally no starting depth behind Samardizja and Mitch Atkins, and neither of those options are ideal. Zambrano's a maniac...if there's someone who will pitch through pain for them, it's him (the anti-Prior). Cubs injuries also never are as serious as they appear at first. There will probably be a vigil outside of Wrigley tonight for him though.
