  1. Good grief...why in the world would you call for a fastball? I'm sorry, but Hermanson has no business pitching in close games.
  2. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:47 AM) and just when things were going so well......and here comes Hermie, buckle your seatbelts boys! Choo's going to put some great swings on the pitches he sees from Hermanson. QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:49 AM) Fathom, the score was 10-1! Let Garland rest for the pennant race. McDowell is s*** for saying that! I wasn't complaining about it. I was simply saying that McDowell is questioning it. Clutch defensive play by Iguchi. So....what's Chris Stewart's CERA? LOL
  3. QUOTE(The Critic @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:47 AM) The Savior...... He won't be pitching in any game that we're within 4 for the rest of the season. QUOTE(3E8 @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:48 AM) Ozzie should heed your signature. It's pretty obvious to anyone watching White Sox baseball this season that McCarthy is one of the worst choices from the pen pitching with inherited runners. Yes, but this is all on McCarthy. His stuff sucks right now, as does his location.
  4. Good grief....this is getting ridiculous. McCarthy absolutely stinks on the mound. And we're bringing in Hermanson. And McDowell is real questioning Ozzie for pulling Garland when he did.
  5. McCarthy comes in, and has no problem keeping up his poor stretch of hanging his offspeed pitches. Can our non big 3 relievers get anyone out?
  6. QUOTE(Wanne @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 01:33 AM) Very refreshing....as opposed to grandpa tellin WWII stories. Yaz, Catfish, Jim Rice, and Freddie Lynn were in WWII? Please don't make this game interesting Boone.
  7. Am I the only one who enjoys the stories Black Jack tells more than Hawk, as they stories are about more recently players that we might actually care about? You can also tell that DJ has a definite friendship with McDowell. If Iguchi can get on, then Dye can get his try at the cycle w/o going back on the field.
  8. Get Gload in at 1B, and Sweeney or Mackowiak into RF.
  9. QUOTE(iguchi=dank @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 12:52 AM) fathom, guchi is mad at you for wanting to trade him this offseason. watch your mouth damnit. Why hasn't that worked for Pods and Garcia then?
  10. Choo is a very impressive hitter. Anderson seems a step slow right now on the field...I wonder if he's fatigued?
  11. Two great swings by Iguchi tonight. Good job by Pods getting on base, as the SB is academic.
  12. QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Sep 9, 2006 -> 11:44 PM) twins jumped out to a 2-0 lead The Tigers really, really miss Polanco. Big time!
  13. Garland looks less than sharp so far. He's throwing a ton of offspeed pitches.
  14. Ok Garland, you have to keep the momentum going. He needs to start locating the inside sinker a lot better.
  15. AJP's homer went in a similar spot as did Valentin's walkoff a few years back against the Cubs and Alf.
  16. Thome has been awesome against sinker ball pitchers this year. Thome survives the DJ jinx. WOW! Excellent, excellent timing for him to get a hold of one. 101 RBI for PK now.
  17. Keep running against this Carmona/VMart combo. QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Sep 9, 2006 -> 11:26 PM) I'm taking a social psychology class and we just learned about the "self fulfilling prophesy" Gotcha...I know you made this same comment yesterday, so I figured it was something like that.
  18. Does anyone have the stat about how bad our leadoff hitter in the first inning has been since the ASB?
