Timmy had zero hits, six errors and one suspension. Sox had two guys thrown out at home with no outs. They also played a DH game where none of the main guys you would think of played...and lost 2-1.

You missed maybe the worst five game stretch I’ve seen in two decades for this team.

Yet some of the talent is very overrated

Who gives a crap he battled? He got fastball after fastball and couldn’t put it in play. He has a slider-speed swing. Not his fault, he’s not known for his hitting.

I thought Jeffers was incredible framing that inning. The pitch to McGuire was awful, as was the Engel one.

Should have been for McGuire. It’s insane not to. How many other managers let their weak hitting backup catcher bat there?
