It’s easy to see why he’s struggling. Too far off the plate and then opening up too early. He has no power at the point of impact.

Truth is, the AL top teams are really freaking good. Teams like the Yankees and Toronto are going to keep getting better. This isn’t like 2005 where Sox could have above average, but not great, talent and compete against the Angels and Red Sox, etc. The goal this offseason needs to be to improve, and not just sustain, the talent level.
