  1. Just pathetic. This team is hard to watch since the ASB.
  2. Just in time for Leury’s voodoo to get him playing time
  3. What’s the point of these posts? Nothing personal to you, but he was out for season so that was never an option.
  4. They put way too much faith in Engel staying healthy despite him never looking 100 pct all year
  5. 5 for the game now. He is getting very lucky
  6. This offense is just bad now. They haven’t been hitting mediocre pitching, so it’s hard to be confident they will hit around quality starting pitching. But hey, Hahn thought Garcia and Engel and Goodwin were the answer
  7. So many fastballs taken for strikes. With a slider as good as his, it’s such a bad approach.
  8. Stop hitting high sinkers on the ground. Abreu has done that a ridiculous amount
  9. Sox are taking a lot of fastballs so far. Similar strategy they tried yesterday that didn’t work.
  10. It’s going to get swept if this bullshit keeps up. Toronto has enough power to get a few out each game.
  11. If he pulls the ball on the ground it’s an automatic out
  12. He probably actually hit very little with RISP and two outs at Cal. Other team be idiots to pitch to him with an open base.
  13. You’re clearly not dumb, but saying his absolute ineffectiveness with two outs and RISP isn’t a big deal seems inaccurate to me. He doesn’t need to be benched or demoted, he just needs to do better in that situation
  14. That’s dumb to say though because it’s actually had a big impact on games, especially the last few weeks
  15. Sox are basically right in the range they were at the same point of 2005. They obviously should be safe but that 5 game series lurking in Cleveland could be dangerous if they let the Indians keep making up more ground.
  16. Sure, things can get uncomfortable if Jays sweep the Sox and Indians sweep the Rangers. Sox just lost 2.5 games in 4 days.
  17. Oh I’m sure he is injured, and at this point just hope he doesn’t go on the IL. If anything, want him healthy for Cubs and Pirates and Royals as this team needs to rack up wins while Indians play Red Sox.
  18. It’s ironic because Friday was Timmy using his speed as effectively as he has all year. Sure didn’t look banged up running home twice on infield grounders.
  19. By all accounts, yes. Kinda comical they relied on Engel to be their RF answer then.
  20. After massively neglecting RF at the deadline in a year they’re “all in”
  21. Not true at all, they preferred Escobar but were scared of his medical issue
