I'll be shocked if he doesn't wind up with the Yankees. After missing the playoffs, the Steinbrenners are pissed and looking to spend some big money.

I hate Boston with every fiber of my existence, but I won't deny that I would take great pleasure in seeing the Cinderella Rays undergo a colossal choke. They didn't exactly endear themselves to me in the ALDS (Balfour, cowbells, dome, etc.). No matter who wins, though, I am becoming a huge Phillies fan for the WS.

Jesus Christ, if Boston comes back to win this series, I'm going to declare that they have a horseshoe up their ass. Three highly improbable come-from-behind series victories within a span of five years? I'm tired of seeing them in the WS.

Maybe a few casual fans will convert, but I don't see it happening it en masse. It's not like losing is a new thing to the Cubs.

I'm hoping the Rays win, but I can easily see Boston taking it in five games. The pitching is basically equal, but Boston simply has the more balanced, powerful, and patient lineup. I'd love to be wrong, though.

Keep Swisher. He will bounce back next year. There's no sense trading him when his value is rock bottom.

I will be rooting for TB in the ALCS, but after that, I like either of the NL teams.

I remember when Wise hit that improbable three run homer in game one to give us a 3-1 lead, I thought it might be another magical postseason run. But when Vazquez imploded in the bottom half of the inning, I knew it might not be so.
