  1. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:42 PM) You don't talk to many adults? No I talk to real Sox fans not Cub lovers.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:35 PM) I don't know a single Sox fan in "real" life that wants the Cubs to win. Nobody I know either!
  3. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:31 PM) I was once like you, then I grew up and learned to like baseball for what it is. A game. I want the White Sox to win. The Cubs can win and I'll be happy for their fans. Make no mistake, this White Sox team is agonizing and the fact that Ventura is still on the bench next season makes me miserable. I am a die hard White Sox fans and I tried hard to buy into this team. I was wrong. The Cubs have nothing to do with it. Again that is your opinion, where I grew up you were a Sox fan or Cubs no in between. You be whatever you want to be. but don't expect everyone be happy for Cub fans.
  4. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:28 PM) That's a fact. Too you
  5. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:23 PM) That's fine, but recognize being a diehard Sox fan is not predicated on disliking the Cubs. That is your opinion, I have mine.
  6. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:12 PM) There are some honest to goodness Cubs fans who I feel deserve to see their team win. There are meatheads, but my grandmother lived 80 years and never saw her team win. There are a lot of those kinds of fans still alive. I am a diehard Sox fan, I have no sympathy for Cub fans.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:08 PM) I will never understand why a Sox fan would want Cubs to win. Basically the only thing the Sox franchise has over Cubs fans is a more recent title Me neither F the Cubs always and forever.
  8. QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:07 PM) What did that cooler do to anybody?! That was stupid
  9. F U Jake you hit 2 guys.....................he hit him in the ass go to first and shut up.
  10. Wow Hawks looking awful Daley sucks.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 6, 2015 -> 07:02 PM) This is why people hate Cub fans. The Cubs can't just win and be happy. For some stupid reason the entire world has to be happy for them. I wasn't happy when the Twins won. I wasn't happy when the Tigers made the World Series, why on God's green earth would I be happy that the Cubs won? Seriously, f*** the Cubs and their fans. I agree 100% what you said is correct. I hate the Cubs always have always will.
  12. QUOTE (Hatchetman @ Oct 6, 2015 -> 09:45 AM) Hell, the Sox might even develop a position player before then! Let's not get carried away.
  13. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 5, 2015 -> 01:02 PM) Please...no rongey. +1000
  14. PWInsider reports that Vince McMahon was responsible for all the creative decisions made for the Madison Square Garden WWE Network special. The site notes that McMahon has been micro-managing as of late due to the ratings decline and is in control of every part of the company, even more than usual. In addition, despite the talk about Triple H’s control in WWE growing Vince McMahon is still entirely in control and all creative decisions go through him for the final approval. When Creative pitches ideas, the common responses are along the lines of “we’ll have to check with Vince” or “see if Vince likes it”.
  15. Shocked about road games but 3 hour home games round trip were a hassle. Wonder who the experienced play by play guy will be?
  16. Eaton is the CF, Trayce will be in RF or the bench.
  17. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 08:30 PM) Although, from a marketing persoective, Puig would at least stabilize the expected 20-25% dropoff in renewals after this season. You bring back the entire roster pretty much as is, along with Ventura, amd it could get as ugly as 30% lost. Drop off will be 35-40% keeping Robin assured that.
  18. It will be 1 and done for the Cubs and all will be for not. They are the Cubs still.
  19. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 10:15 AM) This is really smaller picture. The reality is, I don't want Mike Thomas hiring another coach. Illinois would be wise to fire him first. Thomas has no business hiring anyone else, I agree he should be axed!
  20. One great thing is Danks and LaRoche contracts come off the books after next year.
  21. QUOTE (BamaDoc @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 04:56 PM) Do you want this to be alexis last ab with white sox? YES
  22. Shutout to end year really fits this crap team for 2015.
  23. QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 04:47 PM) Astros tie it, playing to host the Yankees. Yankees down 5 in the 6th Goldy just ended that.
  24. Last AB for Beckham I have to watch on the Southside hopefully
  25. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 4, 2015 -> 04:20 PM) He's been awful, but he can be really good if somehow he could get some control. You are not going to get anything for him, but I don't mind him as a Charlotte Knight who may be able to figure something out. It probably won't happen. AAA is fine he does not need to be in the pen in 2016.
