  1. Why is the defense so slow and bad?
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 02:07 PM) Thing is, if he had good command, he would have been no doubt the #1 pick. Ask those teams about a redraft Sox would never get Rodon . He should of went 1 last year.
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 02:03 PM) Fastball command is the biggest area for improvement for Rodon. His slider is already well above average. I think Rodon has done fine, I just would love to see the walks come down.
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 02:00 PM) David Price, a guy Rodon has been compared to more than once, had a 4.42 ERA his rookie year. He started cutting back on the walks, and became a star his second season. Rodon will figure a way to cut the walks. When he does, as long as he doesn't get hurt, he will be in the Cy Young conversation. I truly hope that is the case.
  5. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 01:58 PM) It's not really fair to compare college hitters to MLB hitters. MLB hitters have way more patience and are 100X better overall. I know that but he is not even close with a lot of pitches, not like he is just off the plate.
  6. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 01:55 PM) Rodon allows too many hits but we would be crazy if we expected ace like numbers from a 22 year old rookie. No but the walks are way too many. He never walked guys like this in college.
  7. Not impressed with Rodon today he got runs and is pissing them away. Flowers called same pitch 3 straight times.
  8. Conor is a lawn ornament...............VM could get a hit against the Sox when he is 90.
  9. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 01:29 PM) How many groundouts to the pitcher has Carlos had? Weak ground balls is all he ever does.
  10. How many games in a row have we given the opponents 30 outs?
  11. 85% of the time Sox opponents have scored a run with runner at 3rd and 1 out. League Average is 68% ouch! Sox hitters now they score 1% of the time it seems.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 01:12 PM) Last 29 games for Avisail, .155. Sanchez-like. Low walks, high K's, BABIP readjusting as predicted. The only way out of that is getting a ton of XB hits, which hasn't happened. Avi never seems to walk.
  13. I have never seen a team give runs back at this pace or give up first inning runs like this. Avi sucking again.
