  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 09:02 PM) It's been a pleasure watching McCown the last two games. A breath of fresh air from watching Jason Campbell.
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 08:57 PM) That's going to be at least a one month injury right? A month easy.
  3. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 12:22 PM) Incognito is one of the biggest jerks in the league, which is really impressive given that it's the NFL and there are jerks everywhere. He has been a assclown everywhere he has been. I am sure the NFLPA will file to get him his salary paid in full.
  4. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 02:24 PM) Im 0-2 this season when my QBs throw for 400 yards and 7 tds That is hard to do............I feel for you.
  5. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Nov 2, 2013 -> 03:38 PM) I liked Bad Grandpa. I was worried that all the funny scenes would be in the trailers but there were actually a decent amount of funny scenes that werent, including two of the funniest ones. I thought Bad Grandpa was ok
  6. QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 2, 2013 -> 06:23 PM) lol, Bo saves his job for one more week. Unreal finish.
  7. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 2, 2013 -> 02:34 PM) Losing was the best possible outcome. Time to fire Beckman. Beckman and Banks are F'N clowns need s*** canned.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 1, 2013 -> 12:57 PM) http://rajah.com/node/36919 So is it the WWE, or some other chump gonna step up to get crushed? Im guessing it is the WWE. The Carters address the rumor to employees... UPDATED: PWInsider reports that Panda Energy executive Janice Carter has issued a memo to TNA employees teling them that any rumors that they were trying to sell their ownership stake in TNA are untrue. Carter (who is Dixie Carter's mother) noted that Panda Energy remains committed to the company.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 31, 2013 -> 06:59 PM) What?
  10. QUOTE (TheFutureIsNear @ Oct 31, 2013 -> 06:01 PM) Trade 1: White Sox trade Gordon Beckham, Hector Santiago, and Chris Beck to Dodgers for Andre Eithier. Why it makes sense to me: - Its no secret that LA has 1 too many OF'ers and Eithier seems to be the odd man out. - Beckham can play either 2b or 3b and both are positions of weakness for the Dodgers. Uribe, Schumaker, and Mark Ellis saw a lot of PT for them - Although hes been a bit of disappointment for us, Beckham is a good buy low option for a team like LA. - Santiago is a young, cost controlled SP who should excel in the NL west. Presents a very cheap #4 starter for the next 3-5 years. - Beck is a decent arm that could be a 5h/middle reliever in the near future. - Don't think I need to explain why Either is a good fit for us. Trade 2: Alexei Ramirez for David Freese -No need for me to ramble here. They need a SS and we need a 3B. Freese's down yeaer of .260/.340 is sadly a huge upgrade for us at 3b but he should be much better next year, especially at The Cell. Let me know what you guys think.... Deal 1 is horrid. Deal 2 No.
  11. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 31, 2013 -> 05:39 PM) Soxfest, I agree with the general sentiment that none of those guys probably deserve to "lose" to Gavin; definitely seems contrary to the direction we're going in. With that said, there is little to lose and a fair amount to gain if we give Gavin a $1M deal at some point. We could potentially get nice production from him if we need as there are several guys that might not cut it, plus injuries are always a wildcard...that's how we got here in the first place. If Gavin rolls off a few really good starts when he returns, he might become a really nice trade piece for us. Probably aren't going to get another Avisail Garcia, but probably something that makes our organization better than we otherwise would be. I understand what you are saying, but I feel the Floyd ship has sailed especially after the surgery and the unknown factor of when he can pitch..
  12. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...partner=ya5nbcs For $275.00 you can try out for NFL.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 31, 2013 -> 04:55 PM) Outside of Sale, and maybe Quintana, there are legitimate questions about all of them. Floyd is as big of question mark than anyone.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 31, 2013 -> 04:12 PM) Like who? Sale Danks Johnson Quintana Santiago Rienzo Beck
  15. No to give away Gavin, Sox have better options.
  16. Not surprised by Hahn's decision. Solid move.
  17. The Dallas Mavericks and general manager Gersson Rosas parted ways Tuesday after just three months and one day before the Mavs' season opener. That was fast!
  18. QUOTE (gatnom @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 03:10 PM) Firing Beckman doesn't just magically fix the program. There's a reason Sumlin turned us down last coaching search, and it's not that we didn't have enough money. Firing Beckman can actually make things worse instead of better. We may be forced to fire him if he doesn't win a another game, but let's cross that bridge when we get to it. No it does not but Beckman/Banks are not even rank amateurs. FIRE them.
  19. Bischoff has been sent home remainder of contract with TNA. He gone!
