Soxfest

I hope Sox can contend, but 2014 is going to be growing pains type year and that is fine with me. Starting in 2015 and hopefully for longtime after be right in the mix. I really like the direction and future of the Sox under Hahn.

Downs would be a nice addition to the bullpen.

I think Hahn has done a nice job with getting young guys for future while not killing what minor league system Sox have left. Sox will have money for free agents when the time comes.

MLB.com's Steve Gilbert reports that the Diamondbacks are close to acquiring White Sox closer Addison Reed. Matt Davidson, a promising third base prospect, is reportedly headed to Chicago. Reed saved 40 games in 2013 for the White Sox while posting a 3.79 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 72/23 K/BB ratio in 71 1/3 frames. The 24-year-old righty should do well in the ninth inning for Arizona and will maintain considerable fantasy value on a good D'Backs team. Per Rotoworld Sox sure love to trade young closers.
