Jamie Moyer Thread
Blue Jays released LHP Jamie Moyer. Moyer signed a minor league deal with the Jays late last month, but hardly made a case for a promotion to the major league level by allowing 10 runs on 17 hits (including three homers) over 11 innings in two starts with Triple-A Las Vegas. The 49-year-old southpaw has yet to discuss his future plans, but this could be the end for him. Rotoworld Can we put this to bed for good................NO to Moyer.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 06:59 PM) It's amazing how people forget that the Hawks were the best team in the NHL before that nine game losing streak. And if not for some bad luck, would have been in the second round of the playoffs. Would of............ could of............... should of...............................2 years in a row 1st round exit for a very underachieving team last year.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 03:42 PM) What exactly would you rather have them do? Let Oduya walk and overpay someone else instead? Oduya could of walked he did not bring anything to the table.

QUOTE (balfanman @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 03:08 PM) I did not see the double, but somewhere it was described as a line drive. There was one out at the time ( I think) so Danks probably would not of been running. He probably would not of scored on the double anyway. Again, I'm at work and did not see this. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong......like i need to ask this. Next guy got a infield single and that would of scored Danks.- GT: Texas Rangers @ Chicago White Sox

QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 03:05 PM) It's like a rule of baseball. The moment you're convinced you won't string a couple hits together so you decide to steal, that person stealing gets out and then you get the necessary offense to score him without stealing. When he steals successfully, the hit to score him never happens. At least that's how it seems Very true- GT: Texas Rangers @ Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) It was just a steal, not a baserunning mistake. That's just part of the risk of stealing, particularly off a lefty I wish he would not of tried against a LHP- GT: Texas Rangers @ Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (Baron @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 03:00 PM) Im sure they are. He doesnt deserve those votes though. Leads the AL in walks. I agree ...............the deck is stacked IMO!- GT: Texas Rangers @ Chicago White Sox
