  1. Garland doesn't look like a ground ball pitcher today.
  2. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 01:54 PM) Rubber match only happens when both teams have one a game. Ross Gload is so bad that it's making you spell phonetically.
  3. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 01:36 PM) This game is over. Can't win with B-team offense of Timo, Everett, and Crede. It's funny to think about what the corresponding A-team would be.
  4. HAHAHA did you see that "imaginary" strike zone? It extended into the left handed batters box!
  5. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 01:06 PM) Not a good decision to swing at the first pitch, but it was a strike he swung at and you know he could sit dead red on it. Oh well, they worked Colon that inning, too bad they only got one run to show for it. That looked up out of the zone?
  6. QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 12:37 PM) I hope Iguchi is ok. Let's see if he's playing second next inning. If we lose Iguchi....I don't want to think about that. He was laughing in the dugout, I think he's alright.
  7. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 12:30 PM) Nice inning by JG. When they showed Bart in the dugout it looked like he had a kids glove on. That was a bearclaw.
  8. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 11:59 AM) but Buehrle has the top ERA in the AL. Once again no he doesn't.
  9. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 12:04 PM) Guys Mark Buehrle is currently the ERA leader in the AL. He is an inning eater. HE IS AN ACE. He is just going through a rough stretch. He is still the best pitcher in this city. My god. Two months ago he was the best pitcher in basebal. He is having a career year. Let's settle down and relax. He had a bad game. He is struggling right now. Santana was terrible earlier this season. Is he still an ace? Hell yes. In fact last season can anyone tell me who the Sox beat in that game that they won 17-7? He is not currently the ERA leader. He could fall further back after today's game. He is the league leader in hits allowed though.
  10. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 11:14 AM) I like Gload a lot but I agree with you. I just realized that Gload was standing on the foul line which would be the ideal angle for Iguchi to throw the ball. Molina was also running on the foul line so he couldn't throw down that angle unless he wants to follow through into Benjie's face.
  11. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 10:51 AM) Timo Perez: 9 extra base hits this season. Juan Uribe: 8 extra base hits this September. Oh, yeah. I agree with this lineup construction. It gets better: Everett 21 AB's vs. Colon, 10 K's. .190 AVG. Inserted into the game solely for offense.
  12. Pods, LF ... Iguchi, 2B ... Rowand, CF ... PK, 1B ... Everett, DH ... AJ, C ... Perez, RF ... Uribe, SS ... Crede, 3B ... Garland, RHP.
  13. No matter how mediocre Buehrle is down the stretch, I cannot see Oz starting anyone else in game one. No matter who we are playing. You guys think differently?
  14. His BIPA is damn near .300. He is the most hittable ace to toe the rubber.

    Blum

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 12:10 AM) He's been about as unlucky as they come lately, he really is hitting hte ball hard. Well I can't watch the games, so I'll have to take your word for it. They'll find holes eventually if that's the case.

    Blum

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 12:01 AM) Chris Carpenter Seriously though, Blum has been killing the ball lately, not a lot of hits to show for it though. He must be the unluckiest SOB in the majors then, cause he's 4 batting average points away from being a sub .200 AVG, sub .250 OBP, and sub .300 SLG with the Sox.

    Blum

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 09:40 PM) People may hate him but the guy hits the ball hard and is not a horrible offensive player. I like Geoff Blum. Define horrible.
