LF - solid CF - solid RF - solid 1B - solid DH - solid (assuming Frank doesn't miss too much time) SS - solid 3B, 2B, C - ???. I think our starting lineup is pretty deep. If Willie, Crede, and Davis can extend those 'good' periods that usually last only a month or so, then it is an extremely good lineup.

I don't think you should have to win the division the previous year to be considered the frontrunner the next. Our team now is already better than last year's opening day team.

Why is this unfortunate? Our problem offensively is that we didn't hit lefties. Last year Dye did noticably better against LHP and is better against LHP in his career.
