  1. What the Yankees have done in the past shouldn't affect his decision that much. It's clear a White Sox team with Randy Johnson could take the Central division. The Yankees have to contend with the reigning World Series champions. I know they're losing Pedro, but they'll probably be adding Pavano. If the Yanks don't win the East, don't be so sure they'll lock up the Wild Card considering the talent in the West. I think his easiest route to guaranteed postseason would be with the White Sox, taking into account the weakness of our division.

    Spying on your kids

I don't agree with snooping if it is unwarranted, which sounds like the case in Tex's situation.
  3. No one on either Marlins board heard it on the radio.

I hid my porn stash in a buried folder titled 'Homework'. Parents never suspected a thing, lol.

    Get a band instead.
  6. He should think about it more logically than that. He must know that if he were to join the Sox, our pitching staff alone would give us the division (barring injuries). All we'd have to do is get there. He knows from prior experience that with a little help he can try to carry the team on his back to the World Series.
  7. Actually, that's what a Cub fan is.
  8. Those were some of the best games I've ever been to at U.S. Cellular.
  9. I actually agree with you here. Not just as a leadership role, but also because he's a terrific left-handed pitcher. Like Wright, has a good IP/HR ratio. Less than one HR every 10 innings.
  10. Okay... Quite the random argument though.
  11. Yes, started by some Rashid at the whitesox.com board.
  12. Don't see your point. Singleton was a career .273 hitter. He almost hit .300 for us a second time as well (.298).
  13. It doesn't matter if it's long when it's got thread-like girth.
  14. Holy s***, lets make him our #1 starter!
  15. By that same token, you could argue that this season's .244 was a fluke. I'd still love to have him on our team.
  16. He did hit .314 in a full season.
