No, you said "What didn't he do last year?" You were not assuming that kid knew Gload's minor league stats. Podsednik had a better rookie season than Ross Gload. Therefore, you cannot call that kid out without being labeled a hypocrite.

Doesn't Konerko only have one year left on his contract? It's hard to get quality players in a situation like that.

Gload deserves more than the bench. You couldn't have asked him to finish the season any stronger while trying to prove himself. Remember, he starts the 2005 season with a 16 game hitting streak.

I have a feeling you're right. Konerko could be gone as well. Gload seems to be one of the new players KW is looking for. Faster, more defense, less power. Nobody knows but KW where this team is headed.

I feel SPod will have a better OBP this year than he did in 2004. Even if it stays the same (hopefully not), his basestealing helps make up for it. The difference between a .313 OBP and a .350 OBP is 3 more times on base a month.

Rotoworld usually bashes everything we do. They were pretty optomistic about this trade, assuming the leftover money is spent wisely.
