It's kinda cool to see Green Day get some love, from at least critics. People used to say all their stuff sounded the same, 3 minute and 2 chord cliche punk songs. Then they turn around and make a more mature, diverse record and people label them 'sell outs'. You can't win with everyone.

Does anyone know if you should cycle creatine, or is it something you can just stay on, like protein? If I understand it correctly, creatine is produced naturally in small quantities by your body, so it seems like if you stayed on it, your body would quit producing it.

I see your point about the double standard for Bonds. I'm no shrink, but Bonds is for better or worse, a very interesting guy. I get the feeling that the guy has some kind of guilt for having grown up privileged. Kinda like he doesn't feel he's 'black' enough and the only way to get that feeling is to make racially charged statements. I can't really articulate what I mean. He's socially inept in interviews when he tries to come off as a nice guy and has a lot of misdirected anger.

2 stories Someone I knew (huge Cub fan) told me a similar story. I guess they were staying at the same hotel as the Cubs during ST. I guess a white kid came up to Shawn Dunston and asked him for his autograph and he said 'No, I don't sign autographs for white kids". I tend to belive it since it came from a Cub fan. One of the worst stories I ever heard. Someone I knew who was a cabbie in the 80's told me he picked up Ryne Sandberg once. The cabbie's son is a huge Cub fan, so he strikes up a conversation with Ryno. Five seconds into him telling Ryno that his kid loves the Cubs and idolizes him etc., Ryno interrupts him and 'Hey, can you turn the radio up'? I guess athletes can be jerks........like everyone else.
