At the game in center field.......... Somebody started a Pop da guchi chant (2 live crew if you don't know) rigth before the home run. We ran with it after he hit it. It was f***ing awesome. My beer was full before the pitch, afterwards it was everywhere. -
The building next door is the AON center. I work in the BCBS building with the lights.

QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Aug 27, 2005 -> 01:13 AM) Wow, those totals would both be records. How can a team have negative runs? Yes, but what if they took out Felix and put in Ditka???? It would be a close one. Sorry, watching the Bears game.

Da Sox - 483 Da Felix's - Negative 12

How many posts do I need until I get a blue dot under my name?

QUOTE(That funky motion @ Aug 25, 2005 -> 02:01 AM) You know it just kills the Twins fans when AJ gets a hit! 3 more innings.

QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 25, 2005 -> 01:57 AM) I'd pay to see LeCroy and Redmond vs PK and AJP in a relay race. Who would you guys say the slowest person in the majors is? Benji Molina?

YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! Amazing throw!
-
What's this about Griffey Jr.? When has this rumor started??
-
Great job getting the ball back in.

QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 25, 2005 -> 01:51 AM) You would have had me agreeing with you...especially if you didn't add those last 4 words of the sentence. We haven't had any stretches tonight, have we? Very true.

Is it just me, or is anybody else sick of hearing Hawk talk about last night's game?
-
Does anyone else think that a possible reason the White Sox called him up and that he has started the past 2 games is to showcase his talent for a trade?
-
Does anybody know where I can buy an old Comiskey Park chair or US Celular field chair? I looked all over ebay and couldn't find anything?
-
Thought it might be a good idea. I guess nobody agrees?
-
I was thinking....... As our lead in the division keeps getting larger and larger, why not throw a magic number countdown at the top of the site next to the banner???
-
Lance Broadway from TCU. Don't know much about him. Check out his stats on www.gofrogs.com

I was listening to Lawrence Holmes last night and he was discussing the differences between the Cubs and White Sox in terms of media attention, fan base, and just overall popularity. One of the main discussions is why the Cubs are more popular and if the city of Chicago was ever a White Sox town. Now I'm only 25 so I can't go back to far, but I thought in the early 90's when the jerseys changed and we were one of the best teams in baseball that it was more of a Sox town than Cubs town. Do you guys agree or do you know of a time when you could be talking baseball with someone from outside Chicago and they'd just assume you were a Sox fan rather than a Cubs fan??

QUOTE(aboz56 @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 04:54 PM) Can you please explain why you felt inclined to start a thread on this? If not, I'm going to merge it with another Crede thread. Because you wouldn't hear about a hitting streak of 7 games from Frank or Paulie. Every sox article on the net or paper you read talks about his hitting streak. A couple of days ago they were talking about it increasing to 5. Whoop de doo!!! I find it ridiculous that they need to fish for positive things to say about his offensive ability.

I'll try 37. Thanks deezpac.

they are making a big deal out of a 7 game hitting streak. I can't tell you how many times I've read about this.
