I have always liked Jose Valentin. What a great hit for him and the Sox. I don't know if there is anyone deserving of it more than Valentin.

Danny Wright deserves a lot of credit today for his effort. He did some great pitching in stress just when he needed to step up. I could see him being a closer, if he could bring that same intensity to the mound and get that first guy out.

Maybe your right on Koch not being totally to blame, but he is suposed to shut them down and he didn't. I could have taken the sac fly to SOssa as that made two outs, but he gave it up to Alou and we're tied.

What's wrong with America when we have to watch games likes this on game day and sportsline? Congress should mandate that we can get games on TV whenever we want them. I can't stand the suspense of waiting for dots to appear on the computer screen and then the long pauses... I did soil myself...

This fielding by Jimenez is just unbelievable. He has done this too many times and he is still in there at 2nd. Wright should be out, but now the have the BL and pitching to Sosa again.

Concern here about Wright losing concentration again. He gets the run back and is screwing around. Can't put the guy away with 2 quick strikes and they get a single.

Frank needs to show these other hitters how to do it. He homers and Ordonez follows with the usual grounder. He keeps trying to hit into a double play, but there's no one on base.
