  1. Where is DJ Carrasco when you need him
  2. No thanks, doesn't fit for us. Viciedo has a corner for a long time and Bourjos hasn't proven that he is a better player than ADA yet -- just younger.
  3. QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 15, 2012 -> 09:06 PM) As far as team needs go, my order would be: 1.) top of rotation starter 2.) #3 hitter 3.) mid rotation starter 4.) CF'er/3B (tie) This is asinine. Our rotation is more than solid. Our 3/4 hitters are both having career years. ADA is shaping up to be a great, young CF'er that is under contract for nothing. 3B is by far the largest need, followed by second base. Hopefully Dayan Viciedo makes LF not a need any longer, maybe Beckham could take care of 2B as well (maybe not).
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 15, 2012 -> 08:53 PM) No. That's the point of the amnesty, that contract is removed from counting on the cap/tax number. Works for me then, go ahead and do as you please Bulls.
  5. Can anyone fill me in on the current state of knowledge surrounding next iPhone release?
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 15, 2012 -> 08:50 PM) Yes, that's very true, but the Bulls would be able to move that money to other contracts. Doesn't count towards salary cap?
  7. I think some people think that amnestying Boozer just means he is off the books. Amnestying Boozer will mean: Boozer can be bid on by teams with cap room. The highest bidder gets Booz. The Bulls pay the difference between the high bid and the contract we gave him (!!!) The amnesty could potentially blow up in our face with us paying him a ton to not even be playing for us
  8. Foam rollers are excellent. You might tear up while you're doing the IT band rolling, but your flexibility will thank you later.
  9. It looked like it might be gone, especially considering the hitter. I definitely got excited, but I wasn't sure if it would go. Looked like it was high off the bat.
  10. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 15, 2012 -> 04:59 PM) Why would a fly out motivate Tank to go to right field more? Nice couple games in a row from Tank, however. At least he's hitting now. He hasn't hit a fastball hard in a while but he hit to the opposite field very much in the minor leagues, it was even a gripe. I'd say he might realize that looking to the opposite field won't hurt his power numbers seeing as he just nicked that thing to the RF fence
  11. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 15, 2012 -> 04:56 PM) Who cares about defense from your second baseman? I am saying Beckham can't hit. Getz is the same player, arguably a better player than Beckham. LOL, defense comes first from your second baseman unless he's a big bat
  12. Can't believe that didn't go I have to wonder if this might motivate Dayan to actually try to take fastballs to the opposite field in the future
  13. Might as well at least score a run or two here
  14. Prepare for a 40 minute 1-2-3 inning
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2012 -> 04:05 PM) Wait, what? It was the 6th inning, not the 2nd. Ohman got up since there were lefties coming and all of the sudden all hell broke loose
  16. It's really hard to manage when your starter gives up so many runs in so few batters
  17. Not a lot to say...just one of those days.
  18. I guess the ball only flies for Detroit now
  19. Peavy put us in that situation unfortunately. The game went from 6-0 to 6-5 in a heartbeat, wasn't much time to get anybody ready
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 15, 2012 -> 03:24 PM) Well, he put himself in that spot by hitting the lefty, but this is why you don't have a LOOGY face righties in close games. This is what we get for using up Stewart yesterday
  21. It's crazy to think that Ohman pitching to a bunch of righties is going to end well
  22. QUOTE (TitoMB @ May 15, 2012 -> 03:23 PM) Ohman is bad put him in a very tough spot there
