  1. FYI I just checked the Charlotte box and Borch is 4-4 with 2 BB's (1 intentional) tonight so he is now over .250
  2. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 08:39 PM) Good start for Jenks. Get somebody warming. Just what we need. Another pitcher that can't throw strikes. record time--1 minute for this post to come up
  3. please post radar gun speeds for those of us without tv
  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 08:36 PM) I kinda doubt that...I think Ozzie might give him the Garland treatment...even if he gets in a little bit of trouble, I think Ozzie will give him the chance to get out of it. If it becomes a save situation I'd expect him to depart, but that requires him to give up a couple runs. I meant a short leash for this time in chicago, not tonight
  5. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 08:34 PM) I don't really think jenks is apart of the white sox plans this year. He could be but it just doesn't make sense to me. i think he has a very short leash
  6. QUOTE(shadowspy1 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 08:28 PM) Jenks is up! and the experiment begins
  7. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 08:24 PM) Patience isn't a virtue around these parts... not practiced too often though
  8. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) Got in here late only to see that BMaC sucked, again, and I'm left wondering WHY THE f*** Kevin Walker is in the major leagues....Jeez can't we give ANYONE else a shot here? Apparently that will be Jenks?
  9. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 10:00 PM) what, i just wish they would do it before the game, the whole i love the country thing is great and remembering 9/11, just it makes more sense before the game i know repetitive Uh, it's Independence Day
  10. QUOTE(brijames @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 09:10 PM) Here is a little advice to all of you from a 30+ years White Sox fan. Relax and enjoy this team! We have the best friggen record in all of BB. Yes the Chicago White Sox! Enjoy this ride and don't get all worked up over the few weaknesses this team has. Every team has weaknesses. Enjoy every game and the never say die attitude this group has. It isn't often we have a season like this to enjoy. Don't get caught up in being negative when things go bad. A lot more has gone good than bad and for as upset as some of you have let yourself get tonight it looks like were still gonna win this game ! AMEN!
  11. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 10:40 AM) Oh, and Josh Stewart was released. I heard he was released in a deal with a Japanese team. So, the Sox made a deal, he wasn't released because he was doing badly. Good luck to him in Japan!
  12. ok, i guess i'll have to go to your site...geez. just kidding. thanks!
  13. What happened in Charlotte's game? MILB never got the box up. Anyone know?
  14. BHam boxscore says it was Bull who gave up 13 runs, not tracey?
  15. QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 05:25 PM) I guess the Sox like Kevin Walker. I see him as a one inning relief pitcher who doesn't usually hit more than 90 MPH with his fastball. He didn't look good Wed, but inactivity will do that I reckon. At least one inning is 2/3rd more than Kelly Wunsch though. Best place is in AAA and getting some work. Thank you for giving us your mature opinion without calling the player names or any other childish stuff. See how it's done guys?
  16. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 11:28 PM) Kevin Walker, is that you? If it is, you suck and you'll never see the majors again. yeah, you got me. (Green) I love reading the posts around here, but sometimes you take it too far and it pisses me off, that's all. You don't have to make it so personal. Just my thoughts.
  17. Are you kidding me? You guys were all for this guy in spring training, then he gets called up and only gets to throw 4 times in a month, gives up no runs until tonight where only 1 ball was hit hard off of him, and you not only say that he sucks, but make it personal like he is a jerk? Give me a break! He did the best he could given the circumstances which sucked to begin with.
  18. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 04:49 PM) One last thought on this game .... These are the dog days of spring training but this was a lackluster effort. Poor fielding and several mental errors. Mental and physical mistakes by the pitchers as well. I would be surprised if Guillen doesn't somehow address this without going too overboard. They should come out with a much better effort tomorrow, I have seen or listened to just about every spring game, this was by far the worst. who threw the top of the ninth?
  19. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 03:40 PM) I'm more worried about Politte than anyone else in the bullpen. I don't what to expect from him anytime he comes in. Other than that, we have some pretty strong guys. i wasn't asking because i was concerned, i just wanted to see what everybody thought. just for fun!
  20. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 03:37 PM) I'd like to think it will be. But in reality, it will have it's ups and downs. i think you're right, but it doesn't help the pitchers when they don't always get the back up in the field
  21. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 03:32 PM) First time I've heard this Jacobs Twin Ford (sp?) ad. So stupid it's funny. who thinks our bullpen will be consistent this year?
  22. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 03:24 PM) Ouch. Brewers score 3 on a base hit through Willie's hands. 4-0 Brewers. any errors?
