The White Sox are 3-4 when I attend. But, they are in fact undefeated when I attend Comiskey, and Maggs averages 1.5 homers per game. He should pay for me to fly to a game this year. : )

I wish people would leave me alone. I like to watch the game by myself so I can jump around and take my shirt off and wave it around. I can't believe we have to wait two months before baseball starts!
  3. Go to whitesox.com and click on schedule at the top. Once you're there, click where it says broadcast schedule, or something like that.

I watched the 14 inning game, waking my mother shouting as Ray Ray smacked it down the line. I love it when Cubs fans are displeased.
  5. That's pretty cool. You should pursue that internship thing this spring. Even though you do live in California, you would move to Chicago for such a thing, right?
  6. Last year I believe it was March 25th. I could be wrong, but I think that more tickets would be sold if they are on sale now while we are all excited. What if Colon, Buehrle, or Ordonez, or even all three, got injured in SPring Training. I think that would reduce sales. Just my opinion.
  7. Last year WGN only showed one game, Which the Sox rocked Al Levine and the A's. Al Levine was subsequently released by the A's and picked up by the Angels. I wonder if that game had anything to do with it?
  8. What types of communications did you have with him. A "How ya doin'" Or something rather in depth?
  9. I've always wondered that. On whitesox.com's schedule, they don't have any broadcasts listed for Spring Training.
  10. My favorite is the elimination of the neighborhood "rule" at second while turning a double play. That is the worst thing that needs to be changed.
  11. Sounds pretty fun. I plan to hit Safeco in May and August.
  12. Your hopes are totally dignified. I need baseball so bad that I tune into ESPN Classic every monady to watch one of Nolan Ryan's perfect games (happens alot) or The Card vs. Royals in the World Series. I also bought the 2002 World Series DVD and watch it weekly. All I want for this Christmas is the 2003 World Series DVD starring our Chicago White Sox. Hell yeah!
  13. The only problem with that is that I live in Salem, Oregon. Otherwise I'd find my own way out to the yard every other night.
  14. I agree completely on that. I like the slugfests the AL provides. Without it, Haarold Baines would be HOF eligible by now.
  15. That sounds semi-similar to my career plans.
  16. Sounds to me like you got it pretty well figured out. Now we just have to wait and watch. I almost wouldn't be surprised if something went down tomorrow.
  17. That's totally true. Are you going to be at the All-Star game? I'm trying to talk my parents into going. We have family that lives just a couple of hours away in Indiana, so I've only gone if a family trip coincides.
  18. I couldn't imagine that. I've been to 14 games in my life, over 6 years. I can't wait until I can drive up to Seattle on my own , which is where I'll be May 10-11 to see the Sox beat the bastards we got up here.
  19. I'd have to agree with you on that. He locks up to much salary for what he gives.
  20. That blows me away. That is so cool. I'm terribly envious.
  21. I just want to get an idea of how lucky you all are.
  22. Yeah, and if I was your kid, I would have been to Comiskey nore than twice.
  23. Really? Along with Hampton came speedy Juan Pierre, and with Wilson went Charles Johnson.
  24. I can pay myself, I just need them to actually make the transaction.
  25. Me too. I can't find anything. I just had an idea of Kenny Roger's being a sign-and-trade in this deal. It's probably not a good idea, but it just flashed into my head.
