Only an hour and a half before game time? That doesn't give much time to watch BP, does it?

Here's the dillio: I will be leaving PDX (Portland) at 8 Am Central, and will be arriving at O'Hare at 2 PM. Me and my mother will be staying at the Hyatt Regency. What is the best way uto get from O'Hare to the hotel, and from there to the ballpark. I would like to be at the field when the gates open, which is at 5, right? All of you meet in Lot E, right? If I were to go meet some of you, what should I look for?

I sure hope we retake first place this weekend.

I see what you're saying, but I think I'd like to enjoy the success of even getting to the Series. Now if we went out the way the Giants did, (big lead late in their clincher), now that would be an absolute heart-breaker.

You've got a bunk-ass version. I have DISH Network, and I have the sports package that gives all the FSN channels and some others. The problem with that is that it blacks out all the MLB, NBA, and NHL games. I have no idea why they don't have a baseball package. They have NFL, NBA, NHL, cricket, MLS, CFB, and CBB.

Continuing our swoon and missing the playoffs? Getting swept in the first round? Losing Game 7 of ALCS? Getting swept in World Series? Losing Game 7 of World Series? I couldn't figure out how to make a poll, so I'll just ask the question. Personally, I think missing the playoffs altogether would be the worst.

I think the only people that it think it should be embarassing is us because we know better. The two things that piss me off the most, is that everyone is up, smiling and dancing, no matter the score. But what pisses me off the most is the whole "Let's get some runs!!!" thing. :puke

I liked what Scioscia did, especially considering that the Angels are out of the race. Sutcliffe kept thinking that they were going to walk the bases loaded, and try to induce Paulie to GIDP.

Just last night on ESPN, Rick Sutcliffe was talking about Frank playing at first, and he said that Frank can pick-it. He just can't throw worth a s***. He goes on to say that if Frank were the First sacker late in the game, teams would run on him all the time, because if he gets it he can't throw them out. First time I've ever thought of guys stealing second off the firstbasemen.

I really don't think that Konerko is faster the "muscle ass Frank". That chopper that Konerko hit to the pitcher that deflected off his glove than trickled to the SS last night, I thought everyone in the league could beat that out. But Koney didn't. I don't ever remember seeing Frank singling off the wall. Also, Frank's BA is similar, but his power numbers are better.

Oh, I thought that was awfully quick. I've already saved it and named it "walk off Washburn" Oh well. A great picture nonetheless.
