Well if 2000 was a fluke like you say it was.. Why did it take KW 4 years to realize this and break up the "core" of players? OR was it he thought that it wasn't a fluke.. or the better option.. THe man was in way over his head.

KW would have problally resign Schoenweiss, and, lead the peons belive that yet again he is/was worth a spot in the rotation. Look since he took over the GM spot, we ahve had 1-2 decent starters and then some patch work starters in there. You are never going to win with a staff like that. But, according to KW mind set you can.. I so sick of blaiming injuries as an excuse, good teams overcome injuries with a good farm system something that we had before KW, and now finally getting back to where it was. BUt, I am sure he trade away more of it so we can finish 2nd place again.. And as far as the other GM are conserned.. How many of those GM's where handed and DIvision title winner and one of the best farm systems in baseball only to not make the playoffs in the first 4 years?

DING DING DING.. we Have a winner.. John S is the best GM in baseball, you don't win your Division year in and year out as much as the braves have without a great GM. Beane is a close 2nd, He made a great deal getting rid of Hudson and Mulder, he knew that they would not be able to resign them, so he retooled the SP..Yeah it might suck now, but give it till next year at the break.. then talk to me about how overrated he is. Now to the man we all know and should hate..KW.. One decent offseason does not make him a great GM, lets not forget this is a man who falled for 4 years before this year. Hell all you have to do is go back to the 2004 opening day rotation to further prove this man was in way over his head. 1. MarkY B 2. Loiaza 3. Garland 4. Schoenweiss 5. A PLayer to be named later. Any person with half a baseball brain, well know that you will never win anything with that Rotoation, but this was KW grand plan.. and of course.. Failed. I was having this discussion with a guy here at work, who reads here but never posts... The next 3 weeks we face teams that can hit the hell out of the ball. Honestly do we all think that we can hold the Jays,Rangers and O's to 2 or less runs per game? I don't they have better hitters than we have. So I think the rest of the month we see what we have this could break us or jsut further prove that the Sox are for real. But, in order for that to heppen..WE NEED to hit the f***ing ball, and more than 2 runs a game! Just a thought I see what the rest of yous thought.. carry on.

Going to both Friday games, for the 5/20 game have no idea where I am sitting..But for the game at the Cell sweet hook-up 300 level tix, I picked up for cost, and the guy threw in parking in A lot.. I have the Anthrax Punch for the Cell game, I figure out a way to make sure you find me.. You won't be disappointed in the punch.
