Your right southside... I mean JR has doubled the payroll only to shell out all of it out of his pocket And you are also right, they didn't triple the prices , they actually incresed it by 4.5 times.

If I had a scanner I would scan it in and make it my avatar.. But I don't. So a ticket that is 8.50 for a yankee game, in 1999 is now 39.00 in 05... so again we tripled the seat prices and only doubled the payroll..why is this so hard for you to see?

How can you go on Avgs when I give you actually real prices..- A's Trade for Kendall
sure, you can- The situation at catcher
No thanks, C is not the main issue with this team.- The situation at catcher
We didn't get Kendall.. The Sky is falling The Sky is Falling..- A's Trade for Kendall
OO sorry I didn't want to respond to the BS.. Since I have the ticket, and it says 8.50, and look at the ticket prices for 2005 and they are $30.- Dish Network Customers
ALLLLLRight- 2005 starting rotation
Agreed Vaquez did fade, but I have a feeling the pressure of NY is what got to him. There was a great deal made out of Vaquez going to NY, and how he was helping NY going to the promise land.. He would not have that here since even the local media doesn't realize that there is baseball team on 35th and Sheilds.- 2005 starting rotation
hammerhead johnson, after looking at the numbers I further tell everyone not to take clement. We don't need another player, to fade down the stretch.- Kevin Brown anyone?
For once we agree, Cleveland is a pitcher or 2 away from being very good.- Kevin Brown anyone?
I still say the sox need to play this one the smart way.. And in the long term Vaquez is the smart money. THink about it, going into the next 3 years with the Roation of Marky Freddy Vaquez Contreas Garland I be happy to know that going into next years offseason that all we need to look for are hitters, which are easy to find, playing in coors lite.- Kevin Brown anyone?
And welcome the Cleveland Indians to the title of Divsion champs... If Brown is on the roster.. will not make 25 starts...- Kevin Brown anyone?
.. My bad, I thought for sure it was 2001. Sorry Still to injury prone for my liking. Vaquez is 6 mil cheaper than Brown, and younger with better stuff. That 6 can be used for the SS and OF we need.- Kevin Brown anyone?
NO thank you on Brown.. The only Yankee pitcher I want is Vaquez. Name the last year brown made it through a complete season with out an injury?- A's Trade for Kendall
Yes but how much has ticket prices gone up since then as well? I have a ticket from 99 sec 105 costs $8.50 for weekend game. Now the same ticket costs $30.. So the ticket prices have nearly tripled, but our payroll has only doubled... And your ok with that? The main problem, is we are paying to much for players to do nothing.- Third Party?
Brown = D Wells NO THANKS Take Vazquez, your getting a great young pitcher who can't handle the pressure of NYC..Bring him to the South side, with less pressure and decent run support for a number 3 he could win 18-20 games. Here a little thing to think of Trade Pauly for Vazuez Sign Sexson for 2 year deal to replace pauly. He is 3 years younger than Delgado.- 2005 starting rotation
It matters a great deal if he was in the minors/majors.. How many minor league players have been traded for big names, and then you never hear about those prosecpts again? My point still is, and always has.. Clement has been on 3 differnet teams and 2 gave up on him.. that should tell you something.. We had one of those players in Todd Ritchie here, as well as Jamie Navaro.. And Clement falls into that type player. - A's Trade for Kendall
