also for those of you that haven't been to a cardinals game ... yadi owns that town. he's easily the fan favorite there. walks on water. his cheers are more than arenado and goldy combined. its hard to explain the love, but he's not going to be a sox

Do you really think it’s hard to explain the Cardinals fans’ love for Yadi?

  2. Rational or not, I think St. Louis wants Yadi to be a lifelong Cardinal and not play for anyone else.

by St. Louis I mean the organization

And that’s fine if they didn’t want to wait, but ultimately no one should be surprised when Eaton misses a ton of games or ends up being inefficient as the season wears down.  His body simply can’t endure a full season and remain productive.  Honestly, it’s just frustrating we’ve had this massive hole in RF for two straight years and now will have to trade away prospects to fill it.

Who is surprised by it?  I think the Sox were forced into playing him more than they planned to.  If Robert, Eloy and Engel weren’t out, Eaton probably gets way more days off and maybe his body holds up better.  Maybe not, but we will never know.

And yeah the Sox need OF help pretty badly, they're down to Engel and Goodwin and then some guys who aren't full time outfielders.

Engel isn’t even a full time outfielder at this time.

The royalty structure was fucked up far before Apple Music/Spotify etc.  I have interviewed multiple musicians that told me their money was made in their label contract and touring, CDs/physical media was basically nothing for them

Absolutely, but there’s more to it than just the income.  Album sales can determine if a band gets a chance to make another album with any kind of label support.  I will try to find an interview I watched a while ago explaining the effects of streaming across the industry even down recording engineers and other people you wouldn’t think of.

To be clear, I’m not trying to call anyone out on using streaming  services, I use them.
