I thought it was 60/60 wins/losses
If the question is about the Hawkism, yes it was 60 & 60.

so much for going undefeated with the lead after the 8th inning like the bullpen kept yapping about. 0-1.
Was that the case tonight?

No.
Yeah, but they just signed a guy to a guaranteed MLB deal who has only played 3 positions and the team doesn't really have a need at any of them, so seems like something is up.

Guaranteed MLB deal, eh? Really only makes sense if they think he can play LF regularly because he can't cover SS or 2B.
Yoan to LF?

Well, we certainly excel at position changes.
Let's see, there's Josh Fields, Dayan Viciedo, Gordon Beckham, Marcus Semien, Mark Teahen, etc.
And he had those two plays last year where he jumped or fell into the netting in a pretty short time span. He clearly didn't learn much from the first experience.
Then you have the running joke of Robert taking every ball but to the extreme LH 15% of left-field. Thankfully, those two franchise players together at their size running together hasn't happened YET, but the results of a full-speed collision wouldn't be pretty.
Disappointed you totally missed the chance to name drop Toby Hall.

Because you want your best hitters to get the most base runners on base from their appearances, not the most appearances. 3-6 hitters hit with 20-25% more base runners over course of a season. Sacrificing that for fifteen extra at bats isn’t worth it
Do you think Eaton is the best choice for the 2nd spot in the lineup?

WIth all the names in that lineup, I really don't understand Eaton getting the 2nd most PAs.

Why is Cordero suspended?
He hit that Cub after his bat toss.

Well yes...Sale would have to be on board. But why wouldn't he be? Seems like the Red Sox are in rebuilding mode. Sale got his WS ring and his payday from the Red Sox...but he had 7 years with the White Sox...he must have some good memories. And if he sees that he could come here and get two more rings??? Seems to make sense for Red Sox, White Sox and Sale...get it done.
He doesn’t like the uniforms.

Leury should play in more than 100 games if he is being used properly. Aside from his starts, he should be getting some burn as a pinch runner, and he should come into LF for Eloy every single game the Sox play where they are ahead late.
Wouldn’t Engel be a better late inning OF sub?

I’m still kinda worried about who is going to be the 4th starter.

Just need to hope the starters can go enough innings so these guys don’t get burned out.

1-5 is quite a buzzsaw. This is what we get to watch every day for a very long time. Could not be more excited!
Yeah! Plug Robert and Grandal anywhere in there, and look out!

Call me crazy -- I'd entertain bringing in EE again ... I know he wants consistent AB's so he may just rather sit out than get a short leash/playing time, but I'd imagine you can get him for $2-3mm. He could fill in at DH for a month or two - if it's going well keep sprinkling him in, if it's not? Cut bait. Not saying I'd actually do the deal - I'd just consider it.

You are crazy.

I was looking through some box scores from 2020 to see who Jose had batting behind him. It seemed to be mostly Grandal, but in the 5th game of the season Nicky Delmonico was batting cleanup for the Sox. That lineup also featured Zach Collins, Danny Mendick, and Leury Garcia.

There’s really no spot for him now that they resigned Rodon.

Would they give up a year of service time for two weeks though? I calculated in another thread that two weeks of a sub replacement DH vs a solid one costs about .2 wins for two weeks. Is .2 wins worth a year?
They haven’t done it with any of the other young guys, so I doubt they bring him up before the magic date.

It's fair enough to say Pederson isn't the be all, end all.
That his fWAR numbers "overestimate" his real value as a typical swing and miss player, and largely platoon bat.
That said, there were/are all kinds of players like a Jackie Bradley, Jr. or Eddie Rosario in that price range or a bit above (Eaton's) that arguably would have been better bets due to health reasons alone. Now Eaton's a better RFer than Rosario, but Bradley, Jr., would have been more than acceptable.
Pederson always was mentioned because of the trade talks 2-3 years ago and the fact that he was usually not getting everyday playing time because of 1) talent on that team/bench, and 2) the terrible splits against LHP.
You also had Jay Bruce, David Dahl, Brett Gardner, Jake Marisnick, Adam Duvall, Kevin Pillar, Puig, Josh Reddick, Domingo Santana and Kyle Schwarber in roughly that same territory.

I almost gave you a trophy for 14 names, but decided not to.

I feel like Eaton is going to be Jon Jay 2.0 for the White Sox.
Hopefully he can put up more than 200 PAs this year.

But Nicky only has to be like 70% of Charlie Hustle to get the job done.
Having all these night games right at the beginning of the season kind of sucks
