  1. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 09:33 PM) Ok, well it's funny now. They take s*** like that, laugh it off, and go on. That's why they are a great team. You can't worry about it. Just gotta move on. Personally, I thought that whole inning was funny as hell. I'm gonna enjoy this year.
  2. Haha. You guys are too uptight. That was f***ing hilarious.
  3. QUOTE(CanadianSoxFan @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 09:31 PM) What happened? The ball rolled off of Garland's hands on an easy throw to first. He'll never ever hear the end of that. Hilarious.
  4. Well. Hit 3 balls fairly solidly. Shut em down some more Jon.
  5. Oh well. We were do for a RISP game like this. Just keep em off the board and keep battling.
  6. Jimmy shouldve tested Ichiro's arm... Men on 2nd and 3rd. Could use that big hit.
  7. I'm gonna cheer everytime Pablo makes a catch, even if it's routine. He may not be great, but you can't fault the guy for trying. So easy to root for.
  8. Ouch Brad Lidge just gave up a Grand Slam to Garciaparra in the 9th, and his ERA is near 7. That hurts.
  9. seeing eye single through the right side.
  10. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 09:56 AM) Cleveland got off to an absolutely godawful start last season with the bats. They've already avoided that this year. Of course, the question with them is pitching, as it is with many offensive teams. Minny is better for a couple reasons. 1 - they have Torii Hunter back. 2 - Morneau is hitting the ball this season. 3 - their infield is a step above last year's. The question of course is their pitching staff...it was so damn good last year that a small step back could hurt it more than a decent jump in offense. If, for example, Santana can't get in a groove for a while, or Juan Roid-con struggles out of the pen, then they could be in for a long season too. Morneau isn't quite hitting yet. Here is his line - .215 .271 .415
  11. Beautiful. He went inside. His location still sucks bigtime, but if he has to pitch better to have him at 98 than 92
  12. Man, BA has a good arm. At least his pop is back. Just can't locate to save his life.
  13. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 02:15 PM) Halladay won a Cy in 2003. Are we forgetting that Contreras has had exactly one good full season? Contreras is great but he really isn't in Halladay's league yet. 1)I said at this point in time, not in their career. I'm not trying to compare careers, and Jose has dominated this league since the break. 2)Jose only having 1 good season is a myth. In 03 he went 7-2 with a 3.30 ERA and 52 hits in 71 IP. He didn't start the whole year but that is pretty damn good.
  14. QUOTE(KWs OK for Me @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) How about the other Roy? Oswalt? or even Carpenter over the last 13 months I said league, as in AL, not the majors. Tough to compare between leagues.
