  1. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 06:52 PM) Cause he's a damn good hitter, and he has a great opposite field swing as a lefty. Yep. He's good.
  2. LOL. How the hell did he line that over there. Thats crazy bat control.
  3. Willie should never even sniff a world series game. Iguchi is in a small slump. He didn't really have a couple bad ones in the regular season. Just too bad that it's coming on now. I have every confidence in him coming up with the big hit when we need it though. Plus he is great on D. WIllie Harris vs Oswalt? Mercy.
  4. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:51 PM) Yes, I do. Maybe you should lay off the pathetic attempt at personal attacks. If Podsednik's arm is bad enough that he can't make that throw, he shouldn't be out there. I'm happy as hell that he hit that homer. Thanks for questioning my fanhood though. Maybe he shouldn't be out there? Wow. You're really something. You'd rather hate on Scott than have him do well for the Sox. Incredible. Have a good evening man, you are a piece of work.
  5. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:47 PM) It would have also been clutch to make a decent throw to Pierzynski to end the game in the 9th, or did you forget about that? That was a decent f***ing throw for him. HE HAS NO OUTFIELD ARM. Do you have any idea what the f*** you are talking about? Seriously? It sounds like you would rather have him not the HR to try and prove you right... Thats embarassing. Guess what though, you're wrong.
  6. QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:42 PM) The HR was awesome, but that still doesn't make Pods clutch. LOL. That is the f***ing definition of clutch. A GW homerun against one of the best closers in the game in the world f***ing series.
  7. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:41 PM) Thank you. I wasn't sure if I had enough baseball knowledge as jphat to tell that that was a godawful throw. LOL. Keep on trying my friend. You just keep embarassing yourself. GO SOX!!!!! GO PODS!!!
  8. I love you guys. Only guys like you can hate on Podsednik after he hits one of the biggest HRs in Sox history just to try and save face. Embarassing to see as a Sox fan, but what can you do. Sorry to have my boy make you guys look so stupid.
  9. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) If Podsednik makes even a decent throw the game would have been over anyways. Nice try though. :rolly Mwhahaha. You've gotta feel mighty foolish right now. I won't rub it in too much though cause we're all sox fans.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:31 PM) Dude, a ton of us our eating crow. Instead of playing the whole "I told you so", why not just be happy the Sox won for ALL OF US! Just to the two guys who were real assholes to Scott. Notice you weren't in there fathom.
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:29 PM) Well, I bow down to Pods and Jphat! THATS MY f***ING BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:29 PM) One at-bat changes nothing for me. Thats the biggest clutch hit by a Sox player all season with the momentum the other way off Brad f***ing Lidge. Pods says WHOSE CLUTCH NOW b****. SIZEMORE MORE AND YOU AND SSH CAN SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!
  13. CLUTCH@@@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I would have liked to have seen a curve to Baggs or Burke.
  15. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 09:24 PM) LOOK where AJ had to field the ball. He wouldn't have come so far out if it wasn't UP THE FIRST BASE LINE. Where he threw it would have been called generally a good throw. With Pods arm he needed a perfect throw.
  16. Try to draw a walk is the only thing I can think of.
  17. aww crap. Don't want them in scoring position.
