Guys and gals, I haven't been around here for a while, but I saw this poll and am ashamed to say that we're losing. valentine is full of crap, and so is everyone that thinks this could be a decent game. if you take the best japanese players of the mlb and put them on a team, they'd get smoked by every team in baseball from last year not called the royals or rockies, and i don't think that would be close. and these are supposed to be some of the best.

i think it's pretty absurd that people would consider not doing this deal. willis is an amazing pitcher, young, left handed, charismatic. you know he's going to be good, mccarthy, you can't be sure. mccarthy is only a year and a half younger. it's laughable, because there is no way a trade like this could happen. if we could only be so lucky...

no way uribe should be a backup. nobody i'd rather watch at SS than him. some of the plays he makes look easy over there are just amazing.

i was very happy with this blown call, it proved legitimacy to those who would deny it (not that they really matter, but it's still nice). and that we won anyway makes it so much better. it proves good teams overcome.
