And That's a White Sox Winner!
A.J. allowed a passed ball that resulted in a run for the Indians. He also failed to handle a perfect relay throw from Ozuna in LF which allowed another run to score. But later, A.J. threw a guy out at 2nd base, hit a double, and scored the winning run of the game.

Magg$ out again!
Wow. The Tigers' supposed ace, Jeremy Bonderman, is not any better than our 5th starter, Jon Garland. Dmitri Young is better than Frank? WTF? Has your friend ever even looked at some stats in his life? :headshake

T-Wolves owner: Spree, Cassell a 'failed' venture
Biggest... underachiever... EVER! The sad thing is that Jordan drafted him.

White Sox @ Tribe - 4/13/05 Official Game Thread
I agree with you there. He can stick with LF or RF.

White Sox @ Tribe Game Thread (4/14, 6:05 p.m. CT)
Agreed. He was one of those scrub pitchers that we had trouble hitting last season because he throws slow stuff. Elarton is a huge dude at 6'8", 240 pounds but he only throws 88-92 mph with his fastball. His changeup is what our hitters had trouble with last season. Hopefully, that will change tomorrow.

I think Timo would play CF before Willie would. He has a much better arm than Willie.

Number 2 with a bullet
Amazing. I guess if we keep winning, even ESPN can't dismiss us. Maybe they will even show 10 seconds of Sox clips on Baseball Tonight some time soon. :rolly

Cavemen, you say?

Magg$ out again!
Yeah, apparently Dmitri and Marcus are best buds. But Higginson has sucked since 2001 (I think he did roids).

Magg$ out again!
http://info.detnews.com/tigersblog/ Does anyone else think that it's really Magg$'s knee that's bothering him and he's using all of these other injuries as an excuse? Keep in mind that if Magg$ has to spend 25 days or more on the disabled list due to left knee problems, his huge contract can be voided by the Tigers.

And That's a White Sox Winner!
Agreed. Yeah, we won the series but a win is a win. A win over a division rival is even more important. By the way, 6-2 is the best White Sox start since 1991.

Flying Under The Radar
That rules, dude.

And That's a White Sox Winner!
Shingo has some trouble with lefties and Crisp, Sizemore, and Hafner are all lefties. It was a smart move by Ozzie, period.
-
And That's a White Sox Winner!
Ozzie said that he used Hermanson tonight because Coco Crisp has good numbers against Shingo. He also said that Shingo is still his closer.
-
And That's a White Sox Winner!
Well, if Jose is really only 33 years old then he still has some good years left in him. But you really have to believe Jose is only 33.
-
And That's a White Sox Winner!
Well, I was pissed when Ozzie didn't pinch-run Willie for A.J. Other than that, Willie can warm the pine.

And That's a White Sox Winner!
Could this be another "Winning Ugly" team?

And That's a White Sox Winner!
I also doubt that Paulie is our emergency catcher.
-
And That's a White Sox Winner!
Besides the fact that Paulie's hips are bad, do you need any other reason for it being a very bad idea? Paulie hasn't played catcher since his early days with the Dodgers.

And That's a White Sox Winner!
I hope you're kidding.

And That's a White Sox Winner!
Too many full counts and too many walks (5 tonight). If Contreras could keep his walks down he would be a solid #3 pitcher.
