In any case, there are so many other things that come into play in this comparison. Would anyone really want an injury-prone pitcher like Wood over a guy that never gets injured like Buehrle? You can have all the best stuff in baseball but if you aren't even pitching, what good is it?

It's less because of pinch-hitters. But does it matter? If the DH in the A.L. doesn't affect pitchers, why do most baseball analysts say that there is around a 1 run difference in pitchers' ERAs when going from the N.L. to the A.L.?

Have you watched Wood's first two starts of this season? They were both pretty awful. The guy is wild as hell and he hits at least one batter every outing. At times, he can't even find the plate.
